George Bush loves baseball.
Nobody wears a beret as well as Saddam.

Your turn.

I can't find anything good to say about any of them at all.

George Needs To Trim The Bush In Front Of The White House

Saddam Send His Co-Workers To Do The Landscaping

It would be nice if we could have Saddam & Bush switch jobs for a week as a way to achieve better understanding of the other and his cuntree.

Saddam helped the US fight the Iranians in the 80's.

George Bush makes people realise how stupid republicans are.

Out of context, that is neither good nor bad. For people like Saddam it wasn't a good (or nice) thing that he believed in himself or his purpose - it would actually have been a good thing if he hadn't. With Bush, it would be a mixed bag.

In short, for both men, the statement depends on and reflects the men and their purpose. I.E., you could say the say thing about Hitler and Ghandi.

Yes all 20% of them....the other 80% are in support of Our Great President.

Never forget, that Iraq Regime change was made US Policy by the IRAQ LIBERATION ACT signed by President Clinton in 1998. This PRESIDENT follows the law, he does not manipulate or break it

Saddam has an admirable knack for procrastination.

Bush wears some pretty cool suits.

A typical idiotic liberal who seeks moral equivalence that is JUST NOT THERE....Even the Labour PM of the UK (a Socialist) knows this.

Um dude, I am not a "liberal". Moreover, my statement was meant to point out the moral ambivalence of the original statement out of context to the man. While P1's statement was true, it was not saying "something nice" about Saddam or for that matter Bush. A lot of people believe in themselves and their purpose, and the world would be a lot better off if they didn't. OTOH, a lot of people don't believe in themselves and their purpose, rather choosing to believe in others and their purposes instead - and the world would be better off too if those people didn't (or rather did; believe in themselves and their purpose). It all depends on the person and their purpose.

BTW, before you go around labeling people one way or the other, make sure you get the label right. If you want to call me a Heretic, that I can accept without qualification - but get the rest right before peeling the backing off the label and trying to apply it to my forehead; the one you are using just won't stick.

Exactly.

I was speaking about it in the abstract as in believing in oneself is a prerequisite to achievement.

As I've said before, I have nothing good to say about Saddam.

I suppose I could have said he succeded in emulating his role-model Stalin in degree, if not in scale.

George Bush is a confident , patriotic & sincere man.
