I didn't find a thread like this so far on here...but then again I have been up for a very long time.

With all the bad luck and sickness running around the AH I thought we could use a little pick up.

So say something positive that has happened to you or someone else today! :nana:

~ Today I saw the sunrise and it was gorgeous. It was misty outside and the light shinnig through was amazing.

I'm seeing my little nephew tomorrow :) He's just got old enough to smile and I'm head over heels in love with him :)

I just got back from a walk with little one at the inlaws and got to do something I never thought I'd get to do.

 I got to put a worm in the mother-in-laws hand. Only fair since I carried it up the drive for the little one;) The look of little ones face over finding "wiggly worm" will make me smile the rest of the day!

Today...well very early this morning...i painted- a lot. and it felt more wonderful than i can describe.

It's Saturday morning and the few tasks on my plate are not unpleasant ones, and ones I am eminently capable of performing well.

Nice Comment

I had an anonymous feedback on one of my stories which made me smile, and made me think.

In summary, Something I had written had pleasantly challenged their pre-conceptions.

It was worth writing the story for that alone. :D

:D I love all the comments, its nice to see the good in the day!

*giggles* and yes I just got a pm calling me an internal optimist in a good way they said. If they only knew my real name they would laugh their butts off over why that fits so well;)

Hey there, I've missed you too.

I know you've been busy, so I couldn't miss the chance to swing by and leave a note. Hope all is well. :cathappy:

Sometimes negative can be a good thing ... especially when it comes to test results. :)

Very true!!! We like negative test results a lot :)

I have managed to not eat any crap whatsoever today.

I have done the messages/shopping/bank trip I needed to do.

I have booked our hotel for the UK Manchester meet up in June.

I bought new shoes (desperately needed for work), and a new top...one that doesn't fit me like a pre-shrunk sausage skin.

I'm in a comfy warm house with a puppy curled up on a blanket by my feet.

Today, I'm going to rescue two cats from the local animal shelter and give them a home.

Pizza just arrived.

I have a three-day weekend from work.

(...those are all the happy thougths I have right now!)

now that is a damned good day! :)

I made spaghetti last night and it was soooo yummy... I forgot how much I love my spaghetti. So I had it for lunch today, too!

I'm taking DH to a japanese steak house for dinner for his b-day... and have a great big surprise planned for him after that :catroar:

Ive just spent the last 4 hours hoovering, rinsing, soaping, washing, polishing and buffing both of my parent's cars. It felt nice to be off my ass and doing some form of excersise. :)

Spaghetti sounds REALLY good now that you mention it. I might have to make that tomorrow for dinner myself!

Guh, you said japanese steakhouse. Those places are my crack, I swear.

Have a very, VERY good evening!

That's really sweet :rose:

Aww thank you, Zade. We went out there last weekend to look and absolutely fell in love with one of the cats there. But we've been dog-sitting for the last week so we held off until now. I hope she's still there when we get there!

Hehe :D

My cat used to sit on my dad's car as a hood ornament...he used to go ballistic (tis a flashy car lol) there are tiny claw marks on the edge of the bonnet hehe...dad's had his car paint sprayed in several places but always forgot to get that area done- the scratches are about 2 years old and my cat passed away!
