Got these suckers living in my wall. And they're active. In November. Just so you have an idea of how big these suckers are the image is to scale.

do they eat meat?

what kind of scale. on my screen they would be about 14" long...you need some big spiders to get them

Not sure if they eat meat or not but one of my cats has gone missing.

I know, right? Fortunately, there's an oil furnace in the basement. It kinda sux, cuz oil is really fucking expensive and this old house (approx. 150 yrs) is drafty af. Some major weather proofing underway next weekend.
