Saving the World One Bra at a Time

Gabi's eyes narrowed becoming serious the moment Mark went outside.

"Mom can't be alive because if she is I might just kill her. I am pissed as hell if she is and even more than pissed if she is manipulating us after abandoning us to, to..." She shakes her head and takes deep breaths before continuing.

"There's no telling what we can learn from watching him work and seeing who he contacts. Soph you are right, let Mark show us what he has." She finishes winking as if she is relaxed again and having a good time, her emotions once more turning on a dime.

She walks with Sophia out the car which Mark has driven out of the shed beside the cabin. She motions for Mark to move further down the driveway and puts the stolen car inside the shed closing it up so it will be less likely to be found quickly.

Going to the drivers side she motions to Mark again.

"I drive. I always drive." She says her blue eyes as cold as steel. "I'll head for the airport for now, but you let me know if we need to go to a smaller or different airport. You can see if you can help us out with that jet. We think our contacts may be compromised at this point. Tell you what, you show us what you can do and on the plane I'll show you what I can do." With that last line a glimmer of heat came into her eyes. It was like watching a malachite stone and seeing the glints shine through the darkness.

"Alright...Go ahead. But you can't always drive. I get to next time. I'll share driving but...I -like- driving."

Playfully sticks his tongue out at Gabi before getting out of the car and once again getting in the back seat.

"Alright then. I know mine aren't. Or at least, shouldn't be. It may not be a jet but it will be a plane and get us there faster than driving. And we're not headed to the main airport. Take the next left, then the second right. Then turn off onto Willow road."

Mark chuckles.

"Tsk Tsk. I told you. Don't warn me. Just jump me. It's funner that way. But I'm looking forward to it anyways."

He pulls out a cell and dials a local number, smiling when on the second ring Tony answers.

"Hey Tony. It's Mark. Remember that favor you owe me? Well, I need to get to Arizona fast. Me and two ladies. Something private if possible. And I need it asap. As in now."

He converses with Tony several minutes, getting the details. Finally he smiles, closing the phone.

"He has a plane, and it's your lucky day It's rather fast. Passenger plane. Tony will be piloting for us. Says we can be there in 5 hours after take off. And that'll be in half an hour. Is that quick enough?"

By the time they made their way inside, a trail of dead guards and mixed blood, Reese was already near unconscious. Tom had to do everything he could to drag the man with him. They looked like some lopsided crab that had just come from the ocean. Tom would push to one side, as Reese limped, his leg jutting out so they could move one more step down the hallway.

It wasn't until they ran into a befuzzled and ravaged looking man that Tom stopped their suicidal lunge deeper inside the compound.

"Holy shit, who are you two?"

"Friends," Tom said, pulling out his gun, and pointing it at the man's head. A labcoat, thick glasses, and he held a tray of beaker tubes in his hand. Tom gave a small smile. Obviously this man was a fisherman of some sort, he thought sarcastically.

"I need to see who's in charge here."

"I am... My name's Justin."

"Good, just the man we've been looking for. Now, where are the twins?"

"Twins? I don't know what you're talking about."

"Two hot chicks would have come in here about a week ago, fucked some shit up, sorta like we are doing right now. Busted in here, maybe have taken a virus or a vaccine."

"There isn't a vaccine yet, there certainly wouldn't have been one a week ago, and no one has broken into this place except for you... and your friend here."

Justin looked down at Reese, who turned over just enough to throw up what looked like a gallon of blood before passing out.

"My god, he got it, didn't he?"

Tom just shrugged his shoulders, "He got something."

"Fuck, he doesn't have much time left. Pick him up, bring him into my lab. We need to work fast."

Tom stared wide eyed at Reese, wondering if perhaps he could just leave him here to die and talk to Justin more about this Vaccine. But, damnit it all, he still needed Reese. The girls trusted Reese more than him, and with Reese in Tom's posession, he had a better chance of getting with them.

"Ok Doc," He picked up the unconscious body, hurled it over his shoulder, and followed the scientist down the hallway.

Justin never expected this. To be confronted with his own illness. To be exposed to it. His eyes had dark circles under them. He looked disheveled. He hardly ever left the lab now because he was trying so hard to find a cure or an antidote for Rain. Looking at Reese though he blanched. To see his own handiwork in such stark relief was horrible.

"When did he first get sick? Where have you been to contract this?" He asked, his heart beating so hard in his chest he looked down at his lab coat sure it would be visible. Maybe he could find out where Rain was. It wasn't likely since there were so many that Emmett had sent out but he wanted to find and save her. Poor Rain, how was she? Was she even still alive? He had to figure out something and now or she would be. Why did he agree to do this to make this thing for Emmett? If he could save Rain he'd take her away and never do anything that could hurt someone else again. He thought.

The well man who seemed deadly and slightly unhinged threw the sick one down on one of Justin's counters and none too gently. Justin put on a surgical mask and began to examine the sick one dread clinching his guts in a fist so tight he thought he might drop dead right then. He felt faint. He was a medical doctor, he was a scientist, he had a great deal of knowledge but this was not his area, still he would try to save the man because it might help save Rain and even himself.

"I'm not sure, somewhere between Russia and here. We were on several planes. I thought maybe he just had a cold at first. We had just spent a week in a snowstorm with nothing more than a tent and some sleeping bags to keep us company..."

Justin cocked him a sidewards glance, but Tom just shook his head, "Long story. But, we were train hopping since then, and came here first thing. I do remember a few others from the plane were coughing like him. In fact, now that I think about it, a lot of people were."

They must have stumbled across something big here, something phenominal. An aiborn virus already out in the world, capable of killing an entire population. If it worked half as fast as it did on Reese the majority of the world would be dead within a day or so.

"What in the hell is going on? A disease, with this kind of capabilities? That is insane. Who did this, is there a vaccine anywhere? Reese needs a vaccine right away."

Justin shook his head sadly. His eyes showed his misery and exhaustion.

"The virus must have mutated again, gotten faster. The only possible cure for it as far as I've been told is the blood of these two girls. It's a myth probably. I've been working on the cure. I'm just hoping Rain isn't dead and I can save her, If I just knew where the hell she was. God, I can't believe I did this. It never occurred to me that it would really be used or contracted by anyone I cared about. Emmett should have never used it. Why would he do it? Now this. It's like a huge snowball rolling out of control! We could be next you know. You and I. There may not be any stopping it! Rain might already be dead!" His eyes get wilder, his voice raw and higher. He is clearly starting to panic and lose it.

Two girls of myth? Could it be? There were no coincidences in the world, Tom knew that all too well now. He could see things spinning in some lamented loop over and over again, crossing paths, winding down, showing themselves as one single string that connected everything.

And he was a part of it all.

"But I wasn't infect," Tom said, looking at Justin, staring at him with both confusion and enlightenment. Why not? He should be just as sick as Reese over there, passed out and dying from the inside. Tom was everywhere Reese was, just the same on that plane as him. He didn't even feel a trickle in his throat.

The blood of the girls. Why weren't they here? If they were here Justin might be able to save Reese, where in the fuck did they go? Tom just needed his So... his Gabrielle. If he could have his Gabrielle, everything would be perfect.

No, not just her, just her blood. If he had her blood, he could...

"Her blood," Tom stared down at his groin, his eyes lighting up, "Her blood. I think... i think I have her blood."

When he raped her, yes, when Tom had raped his Gabrielle. He raped her in the ass, made her bleed all over his cock. But, he had been hurt too, he was bleeding as well. Yes, he bled too, they both did. They shared in their own blood, fucking each other without mercy.

"That's why I'm not sick. Some of her blood is inside me. Check... check for yourself, "Tom held out his hand, letting Justin take whatever sample he needed.

"It's not a lot, but it should be enough to start. You can save Reese here, you can even save your Rain. I promise you that. If you help my friend here, I will make sure Rain is ok... I will bring her here to you, safe and sound. Save my friend, and I will save yours."

Sophia rolled her eyes at the banter between who drove and who didn’t, she wondered why she was growing more irritated with the light humor, but she chalked it up to stress and nothing else. For now she only could watch the scenery go by and her thoughts consume her. Thoughts of what led her to this point, a place where she trusted no one, but a sister that she met just a few weeks ago.

She looked over to Gabriella, and took her hand, she squeezed it, held it tight, until they reached the airfield. “I wish I knew all the players. Where everyone was, and what was going on. I haven’t a clue where Smith is, Reese or Tom. Now...” she looked to Gabi, “now we have this Cass woman and this guy Mark. Before long you’ll be telling me Dad’s alive and living with Elvis on some fuckin’ beach.”

They got to the airport, and Gabi parked the car. She saw the pilot checking out the plane and she headed toward him. Her hand was extended while the other was gripping the gun behind her back, tucked in her waistband. “Hello, I take it your Tony?” she said, a light but wary smile lit up her face.

“I’ll be riding shot gun with you,” she nodded her head back toward Mark and Gabi. “I think they’ll be getting to know each other better.” She knew they couldn’t hear her and she turned back to Tony, “I’m going to board and check out your equipment.” Sophia winked and boarded the plane, sweeping through it to reassure herself concerning security.

Justin gawked at Tom, yeah right he knew these women who were supposed to be able to cure anything with their blood. Shrugging he quickly went to work taking a sample of Tom's blood and looking at it under a high powered microscope. He took a pipette and put some of the blood into a dish then another pipette with which he put something else in, just a tiny drop. He went back to the microscope.

"If your blood does any damn good, which I highly doubt you have a deal. Rain must be saved. I've done something horrible here. Something I didn't really think all the way through." He laughed bitterly. I'm supposed to be a genius but I didn't think. He laughed some more sounding nuttier by the second.

"Ooh this is interesting...." He said looking at some of Tom's blood under the microscope.

"I'll be damned..." He said as he watched the virus and the blood in a battle.

Time ticked by. Justin made wordless noises of exclamation and negation, shook his head a lot and made copious notes.

Finally he looked up at Tom.

"It seems your blood can hold the virus at bay. It can't cure it. You say you know the women talked about? That their blood can do more? Then I can help your friend. At least I can keep him from dying as long as you let me use your blood. There is something strange about it. It's not normal and we'll have to type it. If it's not the right type as your friend, maybe I could study and synthesize it or something close to it. How will you find Rain though? How will you find the women who can really save you friend and my love?"

-------------------------------------

Gabi frowned at Mark. No way in hell anyone was going to drive but her. She'd already told him that but why press the issue. He'd learn soon enough that she meant what she said.

She drove as he told her directions happy that he had made the contact and arrangements for the flight.

"Tsk Tsk. I told you. Don't warn me. Just jump me. It's funner that way. But I'm looking forward to it anyways." Mark said.

"Okaaaay then forget I said that. I'll jump you somewhere else..." She said giving him a smirk.

She enjoyed the warmth of her sister's hand. Glancing at Sophia she gave her a little smile and squeeze.

Gabrielle laughed at that.

"Right Dad and Elvis living on a beach somewhere as what gay lovers? I always did want to fuck Elvis damnit, the younger skinnier one. Mom used to show us his movies and play his music remember?" She said with grin.

"Nope none of our family is still alive cept Olivia and us. That's final. If I find out differently there's going to be hell to pay. As for Smith, I don't know him. I guess he did us a good turn for some reason and then at the hospital was about to take us out but he's history. Reese and Vic, uh Tom well I don't think we'll be seeing them for a while for all we know they've been put down by now." She shivered a bit and her heart seemed to feel a bit shocked. Why should she care? Gabrielle asked herself. Then closed her mind away from the answer.

"It would be nice to know who all is on the board in this game but we don't have that luxury on this one. We'll just have to trust each other and muddle though as best we can. I do wonder though how mom and dad knew all those years ago all this was gonna happen. I mean if you can know shit like that when we are four or younger how come you can keep from dying?" She got quiet then, concentrated on driving while she tasted her bitter thoughts but no answers came to her.

"He has a plane, and it's your lucky day It's rather fast. Passenger plane. Tony will be piloting for us. Says we can be there in 5 hours after take off. And that'll be in half an hour. Is that quick enough?" Mark cut into the silence with his results.

"It's great Mark good work." Gabi said distracted now by the darkness in her mind.

Soon they were at the airport. Sophia was talking with Tony while Mark and Gabi began to size each other up.

Getting on the plane Gabrielle looked over everything to find any evidence of a set up. The last plane right had been bad but it should have been heaven. This plane seemed clean but she didn't have the tools she would have liked.

She acted cool and detached toward Mark as she searched the plane. Her sister went into the cock pit with Tony who seemed nice enough.

Sitting down while the plane took off she leaned back and closed her eyes.

After they were up in the air she began to count slowly and loud enough for Mark to hear.

"One."

"Two..."

"Take whatever you need," Tom said, ripping his shirt off. He wasn't sure just what the doctor needed to do, but was more than ready to play guinea pig. He had to see his Sophi... his Gabrielle. Not Sophia, he didn't care about Sophia. It was Gabrielle, wasn't it?

Yes, yes, something like that. He wasn't sure anymore, something cold and dank hit him, freezing against his bones, snow swirling in from the open window above. He would do anything to get out of there, anything to be free.

But, the moment passed away, and he once again shot into the focus of the moment.

"As for Rain, that's the easy part. I just need a picture and her full name. I have connection in the F.B.I. C.I.A., these people make their jobs by finding those who don't want to be found."

Tom pulled out a cellphone, already calling his contacts in different agencies, "Come on, Justin. Get your ass in gear. We don't have much time..."

Justin continued to work but he pointed Tom to one of the computers.

"Her picture and employment info are in there. Let me try to get your friend stabilized. I think we should get out of here unless you have others with you because once Emmett finds out about all this he will send more men. He's been holding me here against my will but I stayed for Rain. If you can find her, lets grab what we need and hole up somewhere I can work." Justin said grimly even while he continued to work on Reese and the complex problem of keeping him from dying from the illness Justin had engineered to do nothing but kill and spread.

Tom moved to the computer with alarming speed, already searching through the databanks. As the files came up, he grabbed a phone and started making phone calls.

"Yes, this is Tom. Access number 2983 Alpha. I have something coming through right now. This is top priority. I want her found within the hour. I don't care what it takes. This is the answer to our little disease problem ransacking the country."

He hung up the phone before he got an answer, emailing the information to everyone he knew that could help. Missing Persons, computer hackers, inside code breakers, agents, double agents, counter agents. Everyone who was still in the system got this file.

"I'll take Reese. Grab whatever you need, Doc. There's a car waiting outside."

He pulled Reese over his shoulder with one arm, grabbed his gun with the other, and slowly pushed towards the door. The hallway was clear.

"Come on..."

He walks to the plane, bag over his shoulder. Mark's eyes are closed and thinking about sleep as Gabi's voice is heard. He looks over, curiously, as they take off.

"Hm?"

He would have an idea, but he took her words at face value, so this seems rather odd. He is not at all sure why she is starting to count.

"There's no way I can take everything we need. We will need to get to a well equipped lab and a hospital." Justin said moving around the lab slowly picking up the bare minimum of what he needed to keep his research on a cure going and Reese alive.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Three!" Gabrielle said. She sprang from her seat and behind Mark's. Her belt whistled in the air, descending over his head.

"No warning. That's what you said." She whispered in his right ear, while she tightened the belt around his neck. She bit his ear lobe, hard. Moving in front of him, she smiled at his surprise.

Sitting down on Mark's lap and spreading her legs around him she kept her grip on the belt.
Gabi leaned in and kissed him roughly on the mouth, her tongue pushed inside his mouth forcing her way in and raping it.

Gaining purchase with one knee and one leg Gabrielle began to move on Mark, rubbing against him while she continued to fuck his mouth with her tongue.

Pulling her face back from his she looked into his eyes to see how he was handling things so far. Some say they like it rough but they don't know what rough really means. Gabi was looking to make sure he wasn't in too deep before she continued.

Mark is caught by surprise, completely and utterly, the belt around his throat before he can move. But before he can get too worried about it her teeth are nipping at him, and he realizes. She planned to do just as she said the first time.

He loves the savage kiss, reveling in it, as well as the constriction at his throat, her grip on the belt behind the seat tight enough he can not move, but not tight enough to strange him. His lips meet hers with equal force, tongue coming to play, battling.

His hips and hands can move though, so they do. His hips grind to meet hers, his hands slide up her shirt, nails raking along her back. "Surprise me you did. Now kiss me again."

His hands continue moving as he speaks, coming around to her front to grope her breasts through her bra, kneading the flesh.

"Mark. You are not in charge here." She says her voice quiet but hard. Gabi pulls on his seat belt making it tight with one hand. It's clear she's had some experience with this sort of thing at some point. She reaches for his cock and finds it already a little hard. Giving it a tight somewhat painful squeeze she smiles at him fire burning in her eyes.

"You say you like it rough. So do I. So either make it rough or I'll have to restrain your hands next." She growled. She rolled her thighs over her hand and his cock, then her mouth came forward again. Instead of kissing him she quickly veered to the side and her mouth found the back of his neck just above the belt. It was almost like a snake striking him. She sucked then bit there, her lower body continued to move on him like waves on a shore.

Gabrielle's hand came up, she tightened the belt on his neck.

Her mouth came close to his ear. Her breath tickling as she spoke and licked the rim of it.

"Have you ever been choked while fucking Mark? They say it increases the power of an orgasm. How rough do you like it? Would you like to bleed for me?" She whispers chuckling. Her tongue darted into his ear, then she sucked on the lobe waiting for him to answer. She wasn't strangling him, not yet. Gabi waiting to see what he would do with his hands and his body now.

Short bursts of flame emerged from the gun as Tom ducked to the side. The empty corridor exploded in a hail of gunfire. The soft sounds of bullets whizzing past only seemed to fuel Tom's already cooled reserves. He looked like a fucking cucumber in this kind of situation.

"Stay down, Justin. Keep close to me. You got it?"

Tom couldn't wait for an answer, because opportunity presented itself right then. He had no time to wait for it again. Leaping out to the corridor, he saw one of the guards reloading. Two bullets hit each of his knees, and he fell down screaming in pain. The most painful place to be hit with a bullet, not the most lethal... no, not by far. Just the most painful.

With the screaming blocking out all other sounds, Tom crashed through another door into an adjhacent room. This one held more equipment, microscopes and beakers and little sample slides that held bacteria and other things one looked at very closely, trying to discover the universe.

The other side held windows. Tom fired several times, glass shattering around them. He pushed Reese through first before going himself.

"Come on Doc... you wanna save your girlfiend we need to hurry."

The black car they had used was still parked in the front. No one around it. Thank God. They were on their way.

Tom slid into the driver seat, his cell phone already out.

"I need a research facility, asap. The closest one in Arizona you can find. I need it right now?"

Justin was terrified but he did what Tom said. Somehow Tom kept going. Somehow they got out of there. Soon they were moving and Tom was working on getting them a facility. Justin marveled at his luck. He was away from Emmett and had a possible way of saving Rain. For everything to work out right was more than anyone could hope for the probabilities were so low but hope he did. Looking over Reese who was now key in Justin's plans, he watched for signs that the virus had been arrested and Reese would continue to draw breath.

Mark grins, his hands becoming almost cruel in how tightly they fondle Gabi's flesh, pinching the nipples between two of his nails, a sensation he has always enjoyed. He responds to her painful squeeze, arching into the touch.

He learns forward, moving from her tongue's touch to latch onto the spot where her neck and shoulder meet with his teeth, biting deeply, hard enough that he draws blood. He laps at it, but these are no gentle, soothing tonguestrokes. Theyre painful in how hard they press to the opened flesh. He moves up and back so his mouth is at her ear with his licks and nibbles between words.

"Usually I'd say it depends on how and why I was going to bleed. But since I drew first blood, it doesnt matter."

He nips her ear lobe, then grins, hands moving again, calloused palms rough against her skin.

"As to the orgasming while being choked...Never tried it. It could be fun. Have you ever tried it?"

She enjoyed his roughened hands. Enjoyed the pain he suddenly gave her. Now this was getting good. Her mind flashed to Arthur and the rage of being interrupted. If only she had a strap on right now.

Gabi wanted this, needed this to blot out her pain and worries. She took the time to mark him now. Yes, he had drawn first blood but before she was done they would both feel the warm metallic spill on their flesh. the sharp penetration and assault into their skin. The place where the neck and shoulder meet is an exclusively sensitive place, where a bundle of nerves and a major artery are. One has to be careful if one wants to play with it this way and have their lover live.

She bit down, slowly, increasing the pressure of her mouth and teeth, sucking some of the flesh in as she put her imprint on him and made him bleed.

"As to the orgasming while being choked...Never tried it. It could be fun. Have you ever tried it?" He asked.

Her body jerked as if hit by a jolt of electricity. She was suddenly back on the train, being choked by her Victor. She was being her sister for him. He drained the life out of her and then brought her back, raping her ass. He was, she reflected again, nearly a perfect fit for her too bad he wanted only her sweet sister.

"Yessss." She answered this one. "I have. I've died for it and I've lived for it. Would you like that? I think I would." Her hand pulled on the belt, tightening it a little more, making it uncomfortable.

"Just relax, and give yourself over to it." Gabrielle cooed smiling at his reaction. "You can't fight it, you have to want it. Death that is. Oblivion. Surcease."

She undid his pants with her other hand. Gabi indicated that he should move up so she could pull his pants and underwear down. Her short nails felt longer and sharper than they should have on his cock.

"You're going to love this." She said. "I promise."

Sophia sat in the cockpit with Tony, her thoughts to herself, quietly reflecting on the past and not evening looking for the future. For Sophia there was no future. Her friendship with Tom gone, her love for Reese buried... again. Smith, she thought to herself, Smith had potential, but now... now he was gone to, and Gabi... Gabi was fucking the daylights out of Mark. She rolled her eyes and looked over to Tony, he was a nice looking lad, but she was far from being in the mood for sex.

She looked behind him and found a crossword puzzle game. “I'm going to be here if you need me, but I doubt you will, and I'm sooooo, not going back there.”

Tony chuckled and looked back at the closed door. “We can watch if you want,” he smiled then winked.

“Watch?” Sophia asked.

She saw the man's face grin wider and he flicked on a button and the montior on his left flicker to laugh. She rolled her eyes and her mouth fell open. “Shit,” she stuttered, then blushed. “Does Mark know about that?” she pointed to the camera.

“He probably suspects, but I've never confirmed, and you can't either.”

“Don't worry I won't, but... it makes more interesting then the crossword puzzle,” Sophia laughed.

“Damn right it does,” Tony responded back. He watched the guages and occansionally glanced at the monitor, his own cock responding to the scene in black and white.

Sophia gazed at her sister's image and that of Mark's. “I could never be like that... so wild and free,” she sighed, wondering for once, what it would be like to be taken and controled. The flight continued toward Arizona, while Sohia thought of her lover Reese and where he was, a part of her... a large part of her praying he was still alive.

It came through brilliance, differing colors of the rainbow that shook him to the core. He shivered all over, trying to break the binds that held him, sweat pouring off his body.

Inside, he felt like he was melting. Organs dissolving into one another, blood seeping through him, throwing up, puking as he shit out nothing but coagulated blood, dark as night as it left him.

His mind grew dimmer and dimmer still, shrinking before him like some cube of sugar in water. There was nothing left that he could understand. Even words lost their meaning, letters tearing themselves apart from coherent thoughts and ideas, disppearing here and reappearing somewhere else, scaring him even more. Cinderella helped Indiana Jones find the lost city of Atlantis, only to discover Doc had used his time machine to take it back to 1985...

Sweat poured out from his entire body, hot and cold intermitted. They exchanged themselves time and time again, like two opposites playing tennis. Give and take, back and forth, hot and cold. There was no imtermediate, no range of middle, no sense of comfort, only hot and cold. He could fry eggs and then freeze them within seconds of each other, only time able to tell.

Was he dying, or just going crazy?

His organs were still there, not dissolving. His stomache filling up with a fluid, not blood but something else. That shit running down his ass wasn't blood, but just shit. He wasn't dying...

His brain just could not handle being so hot. It was boiling up inside of him, hallucinations running wildly. He could not think, but he tried with all his might. If he could just keep a thought in his head, something might come through, something he could use to help him.

"Sophia..." He screamed aloud, watching her raise the gun to him, shooting him over and over again. He was in bed with her, kissing her, loving her, feeling her all over his body, until she reached her hand up to the nightstand. It could have been to get a glass of water, or check the bedtime clock, but he knew it was neither, as he took her, as he watched the love in her eyes he could see the gun.

She shot him, blood scattering all over her face. Bloody and dead already, her eyes growing cold at his sight, Reese pleaded her her, even as life left him. She shot again and again, bullets echoing through him, ricocheting off his bones, reverberating through his very center. He fell to the ground, still watching her, still trying to plead with her, still desperately grabbing at the last straws that already had left him.

And she stood above him, licking at his blood, laughing into the dead of night.

Then he was back on top of her, fucking her, loving her. She loved him back as her hand went up to the nightstand.

No...

Over and over again.

He would scream, if he could... if he were not tied down, if he were not lost in his own subconscious.

An hour went by as they travelled down the freeway. Tom got calls along the way, updates here and there. A facility they could use, more or less abandoned in the desert outside Tucson.

It took a genius named Robbie Calter to finally find Rain, or at least her whereabouts. They used her picture and sent it through the recent surveillance videos that came into the C.I.A. Several airports showed up hot. Once he knew it was the airport, he used that as a matrix and found out she had been everywhere. Miama, New York, Chicago, Boston. She was right now on her way to Seattle.

Seattle. They needed someone to pick her up. Agents were in Seattle, ready, but that wasn't good enough. They also needed a plane.

At the moment, only one plane was up in the air that was level high enough security to bring Rain in. It was on its way... coincidentally to Arizona. The register said it was dropping off materials.

Tom stopped at the building. It wasn't large, three stories of an average looking building out in the middle of nowhere. Tom got out, as two assistants came out in white lab coats.

"This is Justin," Tom pointed at the doctor, "Whatever he needs you'll give him. You got that?"

They both nodded, opening the back door and bringing Reese inside.

Tom gave a call to the information center, telling them to patch him into the radio on the plane.

"Yes, this is Tom Graven. Access code 2983 Alpha. I know you have top priority clearance, but this takes precedance. I need you to..."

"Wait, Tom? Tom? Aren't you supposed to be..."

"Yeah, I know. Funny how that happens. It doesn't matter though, not important at the moment. What is important is Rain. You'll be getting a fax right now. The picture of a girl, she should be landing at the SeaTac airport in an hour and a half. I need you to get her and bring her to the Fockson Research Facility outside Tucson."

"I'm not an agent. I'm just Tony, the pilot. I don't..."

"Listen, Tony. I'm not that stupid to understand that dropping off materials usually means something off the record. Is there someone there who is an agent? Anyone? I'll take some fucking rookie who's going to get his cherry popped on this assignment, I don't care. This takes precedant, don't you understand?"

Cass hurried to the car, along with Alex and soon they both were dressed, and on their way out of the area. The cabin burned behind them, as Alex was once again behind the wheel of the car, and heading in the directions that were given to him. “Someone high up knew how to find this place, and I’d like to know who the fuck it was.”

She grabbed the spare phone in the car and silently pointed out directions to Alex. Soon they were at the abandoned barn and getting out of the car. “Shit,” she muttered, closed the phone and watched Alex move toward the hidden door that was under the mounds of hay. It was then that it hit her; back at the cabin he’d asked if she kept everything as usual. She had not told him of the cabin… so she knew now he’d been watching her for sometime, as she had him. How could he fake the anger, how did he know of the secret door to the weapons room underground.

“Trust…” she smirked to herself. “We’ll wait and see the final hands sooner or later… preferably sooner,” she told herself.

They gathered the weapons and were soon pulling the small helicopter out of the barn. The creeper that held the copter was easily pulled out with the tractor and soon the couple were in the air heading for the hospital. Each one now wore NYPD’s finest colors and would easily blend in once Cass made her calls and connections were sent to the appropriate people.

They landed on the roof of the hospital, and began their way down, each one lost in thought. Cass’s moved through the hospital corridors knowing that Alex was watching her back. When they reached the fourth floor, the carnage was everywhere. “Oh god… Alex,” she turned into her husband’s arms, and wept.

The radio brought back to life the image of a man pulling at her and trying to rape her. Sophia's eyes closed on the voice, her mind recalling the ugly sneers as well as the sounds of Reese helping her. She listened to the conversation between Tony and Tom, and said nothing. Once it was over Tony had refused to argue with the agent on the other end and he clicked off communications then looked at Sophia. “Looks like we have to pick up another player.”

Sophia said nothing, just nodded her head and thought of Tom, and wondered if perhaps Reese was with him. She hoped he was, or at least she hoped Tom knew if he was alive or not. The fax came through, and she watched Tony flick back over to Tom and confirm the fax. “I've got it, and we'll do as you ask. We were, well hell... you'll see us when you see us.” Tony began to turn the plane and set the guages. “You want to interupt them?” he asked Sophia.

“Shit... she'll shoot me. Last time she was doing this she got drugged, there is no way I'm interrupting that little dance. Fly the plane and enjoy the show,“ Sophia stated flatly. Her mind already wondering what the hell this Rain chick was doing and why did Tom want her so bad.
