Where's the thread?

The outrage.

The blame.

And most important, do you prefer your whale cooked over gas or charcoal?

It's suitable for eating during Lent, if only you could gag it down.

Have the Russian icebreakers been put on alert? I'm sure Putin will be standing on the bow as they come to break a trail for the whales. And of course, it will be a nuclear wessel.

Alaskan Whale Stew

Whale meat, cut into bite-size pieces (from 1 medium-sized whale)
5 tons alaskan potatoes
17 gross ostrich eggs
6 (55 gallon) drums chili peppers
1 ton salt (add to taste)
2 truckloads carrots
1 snowshoe hare

Directions:

1
Mix ingredients (except eggs) in an Olympic size pool filled with non-chlorinated water.
2
Heat to boiling.
3
Simmer 2 to 3 weeks, or until tender.
4
If it appears that the stew may not serve the entire group, add snowshoe hare. This requires caution, however, as some people dislike hare in their food.
