Enelya hid behind the boulder making herself blend into surface so she would go unnoticed by the prince's men. She could not go on living like this, constantly on the run, in fear of her life and innocence. Her life had been turned upside down six weeks ago and she had been running and hiding every since.
Six Weeks Ago
Enelya was strolling through the market getting some things for the infirmary when she ran into thin man slightly taller than herself she was quick to apologies but when she looked at the man she gasped and bowed her head. "Forgive me your highness, I should have paid better attention." She said to the youngest, and rumored to be the most spoiled, prince of the kingdom.
She kept her head bowed as he looked her over before he finally spoke. "You are a healer?" He asked.
"Yes your highness." She answered not sure why he would ask her such a thing.
"I want you." He whispered in a husky voice that sent waves of revoulsion and fear through her. "Meet me tonight outside the palace gates and all will be forgiven."
She knew he meant to take her body and use her and she had refused to go. When he realised she would not show he had sent men to her home and the infirmary to arrest her for teason. She had been running and hiding and she wasn't sure how much longer she could go on. She peeked around the boulder and made sure all had passed her before running to the cove to the right away from where the men thought she had ran. She drew her magic into her and began chanting. She called up a portal to take her to the mortal realm so she might find a saviour.
