Saturday night's alright for ...

I'm conserving my energy. That's what I tell myself.

I'm pretty much just wasting time until I go out later...

...when I'll be wasting time while drinking and that's about it.

I tried to get laid and got shot down. Soon I will be writing. to my fellow homebodies!

That's one good thing about being alone - there's no one to shoot you down. ;)

(always lookin' for that silver lining, I tell ya  )

It's so simple, Charley. You get some fresh salmon filet, and cut it into strips an inch wide, so there's plenty of surface to take the glaze. Then you melt the applejelly in a little pot with the horseradish and the chives, sear the salmon in a pan (butter or olive oil, both good), three minutes a side, put the glaze all over it and bake a little while. Pour the rest of the glaze over, lay a few chive straws artfully over the things, and eat them with garlic mashed potatoes and a colorful vegetable.

I'm in for some of that. Something tells me you wear some kind of hat and apron when you cook that. Which of course makes it even better.

I made carson's mouth water. :)

It's pretty simple and devastatingly good. You have the whole recipe right in the post. Makes people think you're a culinary genius-- unless they don't like salmon.

Yep, that would be it.

LOL. With no S/O of any kind, and no friends, that equals no life, hehe.
I could have hit the bars with my stepmom and her friends, but for some reason that depresses me occasionally. :p

I suppose Saturday nights all right for talkin to my dirty old men (and women,) LOL. :p

My favorite way to make salmon is to mix honey, melted butter and dijon mustard. Spread it over the salmon and cover with seasoned breadcrumbs, then bake. The rest of the honey mustard gets poured over top. Amazing.
