Feminists screech "NOT ALL FEMINISTS ARE LIKE THAT!!!"
Feminists, when called out on their movement's excesses, want to deflect or deny that their belief systems and statements open the door to a whole world of hypocritical sexism of their own. They don't want to be tied to the extremists that lead their movement. Case in point: the way they scream "NAFALT!"
Deduct a patriarchal, neo-feudalist dystopia based on Conservative beliefs:
Conservatives brag "Yup, DAMNED STRAIGHT!!! And wait'll you see how low we sink tomorrow!"
Conservatives, when called out on their movement's excesses, not only defend it, they brag about it, and the next day, someone or something even worse comes along. Case in point: one day it's Sarah Palin, then 8 years later they sink lower to Donald Trump, and then they sink even lower to Roy Moore.
You can mock feminists because they are emotionally stung by their hypocrisy and as a result will rise to defend themselves against what they feel is slander.
But you can't mock Conservatives because, unlike feminists, they're in a constant race to propose laws and float political candidates that are even more truly batshit insane than you outlandishly made them out to be a few months ago. "You say we're THAT crazy? Nah, son, hold this beer." Unlike feminists, Conservatives are in an arms race of insanity.
