Hi Sassy. I had to take a page from your book. My dogs found a couple of baby rabbits in my garden today. I think they were old enough to be on their own, so I didn't take them to a shelter or anything like that. Instead, I took them about 10 miles away to a conservation area. I think they will be ok.Oh! And one more thing. I love that you try and save baby bunnies.

beerbq- I let my last one go. My daughter and I went out back and built this cool little nest with all the stuff some of the web sites said it needed and I called one of the local vets and left a plate of food for it. We covered everything with a laundry basket. We went back out today and the food is gone and the bunny wasn't there. So I can only hope it found it's Mom again or other bunnies to hang out with. I've left my cat inside for a couple days now and I'm pretty sure she's going to attack the next person to open the door, if they don't let her out though.

So totally awesome. A pretty good day, I'd say.I went to an amazing service at the cemetery where my Grandpa and Grandma are buried. I didn't even know it was going on until I got there, but it was beautiful with jets flying over and it was packed. When I left I went to a memorial place for a friend of mine who was abducted when I was little.
Thank you Tali. I have many memories of my friend and am just happy that they caught the asshole that abducted her. It was a long time ago now though. There was a book about it too.That's what I did today early this morning, went and saw my dad and my uncle who died in the Pentagon on 9/11.

My Grandparents passed a long time ago now too. Each passed the year one of my kids was born.

Yes, it was very calming.
They knew who did it from Day one since he'd been spotted in the area, but couldn't prove it. He was sentenced to life in prison once they found her and I learned 5 years ago that where he used to be housed in Max security 6 hours away, he is now in one of the state prisons in the same city as me now. I went a little crazy when I found that out. He is the reason I sleep with a gun when my husband is gone.
