I know it does. There was a horrible accident with a classmate of mine growing up her mom was a smoker and was washing his hair because he came home from school saying he had lice and he ended up on fire.

Yes he did and it's a miracle that he looks normal...after probably 1,000's of reconstructive surgeries. His mother who was just a 'dumb mom' spent a long time in therapy after that.
