sarahhh's entry in the 2006 Earth Day Contest, "A Big, Big Blow Job" is the same story she entered in the 2004 Halloween Contest as "Hurricanes, Halloween and Hymens."

I recognized the story immediately. When she entered it as a Halloween story, I thought it a little unfair for her to call it a Halloween story simply by dating the event October 31.

To be sure that I wasn't mistaken, I checked the 2004 Halloween Contest entries and found "Hurricanes, Halloween and Hymens" entered by sarahhh.

Next I looked at her submission page. No such title.

Apparently she had Lit delete the HHH story then resubmitted it this year for Earth Day under a different title.

Bunny ball ball must've finally gotten old.

*snort*

somehow, this doesn't surprise me in the least. :D

Oh, wait. We'd better be careful.

We don't want to be lectured to for expressing our opinions on this type of matter.

Again.

Here, pup.

(Damn, Lauren was so funny!)

Actually, that's not who I was referring to, however.

JOI: Does anyone know if this is on the level? I'm not usually inclined to pay much mind to 1-Post Wind Up Merchants, but re-reading, this guy seems kinda certain of himself.

Or you can leave it and then scream plagiarism when RideMeCowgirl posts it.

*giggle*

Okay, maybe that's just funny to me, I don't know.

Awww, don't pick on Debbie.

She and I have become verrrry good friends.

(Sorry, Dran.)

I tend to think that because of the thread starter's nick and the fact that they have no other posts, they're someone that stands to lose a lot by bringing the facts to life. I'm inclined to think it's for real but mainly because I've seen in the past just how adamant the author in question has been about winning.

Earl -

Laurel has been notified, the sarahhh named doesn't refer to me, nor did I begin this thread.

I can share that the thread starter is a long-standing AH member who PMd me last evening about the situation and this thread (though I didn't realize they would do the thread anonymously).

I can understand that, however. The last time cloudy and I brought certain facts to light we were attacked.

But they are very serious about it, they have proof, and Laurel knows. I hope this is taken care of quickly.

What can you lose if you're as certain as the thread-starter sounds. If it's true, then it's true, and I can't see why hiding behind a new nick helps any. In this case it actually hinders, as I'd be more inclined to disbelieve an accusation from someone whom I didn't know.

Fair enough.

Like I am totally not picking on Debbie! I think she's really cute and sweet and stuff, and like, I was the one who yelled at Darnoel for taking credit for her stories, 'cos he does that, you know? An' it's mean an' stuff for him to do that so I yell at him, so don't say I'm picking on Debbie, okay? But I still like you for being nice an' stuff.

BWAH!

The Author in question has a possee of rabid sycophants. Should you intimate she isn't the finest writer since Hemmingway, you can expect your scores to take a nose dive similar to a Stuka over Poland.

It would seem the person who discovered this is probably an author and while incensed that such an underhanded thing has been done, they are not ready to see their stories tak that kind of beating in response to making their suspicions public.

Due to a pattern or retaliatory bombings by the author's fan base, using an alt would seem the prudent thing to do.

What's Bunny Ball Ball?

That came up in a very funny (and ugly) thread with the person mentioned in the title and some of the AH's loverly women. (the thread was in the story feedback forum but it's been quite awhile.)
