SamueX is the best

Who agrees with me that Sammy X is the bestist writer here???

Depends how you measure "best". If you're counting by voter ratings, then no, and his stories are... not my cup of tea.

But if you measure success by "getting pleasure out of writing", he just might be one of the most successful writers on Literotica.

I don't. I'm the best. SamueX can't hold a candle to me.

Samuel X leaves everyone else alone and just writes and posts what he likes to write and post. He hasn't come to the forum to ask for an assessment of his work--nor to pass judgment on anyone else's story file from any angle. So I'm all for just leaving him and his stories alone.

I don't care for his stories and judging by his scores a lot of people agree.

But having said that, I give the guy a ton of credit for doing his thing and not letting those scores get to him.

I know authors who have pulled stories because oh boo hoo they were getting flamed, this guy just doesn't care.

Someone who truly marches to his own beat, which is pretty rare so hats off to him.

Speaking of Scouries-like cyberbullies who rag on others' stories on the forum.

Yup I'm one of them. That story is going back up in two weeks with mythical beastie ity as the theme.

I read a story today I was enjoying. Until it turned into a rape story. I'll just say it was an off the beaten path story, to start with.

Some may make the argument that no means yes. Or the analogy similar to one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter. For those of us that didn't go to Yale or Amhurst, I would believe no means no to us.

--Even with all the ideas running through me, I want my next new project even if it's non erotic. To be a story where the victim kills her attempted rapist. Then hunts them down in the city and kills them one by one.

I'm against the death penalty in real life except for rapist and pedophiles. This is where Glen Beck and I agree incinerate the fuckers. If a woman kills her atacker no matter how much force due to her state of mind. I consiider that reasonable force.

But....but....how can that be? Lit doesn't allow rape stories?

Ditto really.

I mean how do you quantify "best? in an erotic world?"

Beats the Hell out of me.

In some genres it can mean that, yes. It's typical buildup sex play in the GM scene. There's such a taboo on male-male sex that in many buildups to having sex, there's a surface veneer of "you're taking me without permission." One has to look at all the signaling going on.

There may be some of this in straight sex too, I think.

Thing is, some of the stories on here that have really got me going are rated in the 4.2s-4.3s. There's one by Rainbow Kiss in the 4.5s and should be 4.8s IMO.

Just a personal thing.

I just re- read a few of my stories. There's a series I hope to rescue from my stupidity (so much to done, its all missionary) by finishing the year long draft. Making it my longest ever.

There is one that I don't even know why it's rated as high as it is after re- reading it and seeing the post editor errors.

My gmail story of the year needs to be tantric.

Ha! I just reported a second one last night LC68!

I'll bet there are others, I'm gonna go do a text search for "rapist" and see how many hits I get that have a full-blown rape scene... I'll bet those two weren't the only stories that were breaking the rules and got approved... ;)

Have fun,

I go for the "ignorance is bliss" approach. I don't go looking for them, as it will only pis me off, so I stay clear of the non con section.

So rape is against the rules?

So rape is against the rules?

Not against the stated submission guideline rules, no:

No sexual activity involving bestiality (you can write stories about supernatural beasts like ghosts, unicorns, werewolves, etc.) or underage persons will be considered. For the purposes of this site, the minimum legal age is 18. This site does not publish stories, articles, essays, or other material supporting, encouraging, or defending child abuse and/or exploitation.

I'm sure the vigilantes will let us know if they manage to get them kicked off the site.

So rape is against the rules?

Presented below is a list of the "rules".

http://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=175666

Here is the last segment

Was there excessive violence, snuff, or abuse of characters in your story?

Your story was too extreme for our guidelines. These judgments are subjective, and thus we can't give an exact definition of what exactly is "too much". Certain "violence" in a BDSM situation between consenting adults may be allowed, while the same "violence" between strangers in a non-consentual situation will not. Tone and respect for characters, as well as the "violent" scene within the context of the story, are what we make our judgments upon. If your story is rejected for this, feel free to send the story back with a polite request for an explanation and we will tell you why it was rejected. If you disagree with our assessment, you are more than welcome to publish your story elsewhere rather than alter it to our guidelines. We respect your rights as authors to write on whatever you like, however you like.

Now there are those who will say this is not official, that it is simply a member "Killermuffins" take on the rules.

However seeing this link appears in the Literotica FAQ under why was my story rejected, then it obviously means the site approves of this interpretation.

I am certain that non consensual violence is speaking of rape as is the word abuse.

Supposedly somewhere else there is a more direct statement about the "victim" having to at some point in the story show consent or it will not be accepted.

As stated this is obviously endorsed by the site or it would not have been linked in their FAQ.

Now whether they adhere to it is another story, but here is your answer.

This guy is the self appointed George Zimmerman of Lit.

So rape is against the rules?

In a world where porn is barely legal and sites like this one are afraid to post a lot of stories, it seems that we don't need more story police running through the stories to find people to report. He he is against rape stories don't read them.

I think it could be the case that with the number of stories posted, the site could plead that they didn't know it was there. Unless, of course some self appointed censor of lit makes a big deal out of sending in a report.

Here in the home of the brave and the land of the free, we have to hide from our laws sometime to be able to live our lives like we want to. Just as Topace is trying to stop the stories he doesn't like, there are countless church groups that don't like this site, and would love to see it taken down. It is all a matter of where you draw the line.

For myself I think each of us should censor what we read and let others do the same.
