I've read quite a few stories recently that have involved long term couple friends who expand the friendship to those with benefits. Inevitably it turns out that the wives have been sleeping with each other for a while.

My question is this. Am I the only one who feels this is a bedrail? I wouldn't care if my wife was having sex with a man or a woman I would still feel it a bedrail if it was without my knowledge but I have yet to find a story that actually deals with that. It's all that’s ok honey now let’s get the 3-some ect.

I'd appreciate your thoughts.

In all seriousness, let me answer your question. Yes, it would feel like betrayal to me. And it's why I don't read those stories. I can't, personally, see the fun in it. I would have the same question you have running in the back of my mind all the time.

But that's just me.

Now, I take exception of your use of honey in connection with infidelity.

Nicely done, I just thought it was some kind of slang. Bedrail rhymes with snail, who carries off their house like your wife will if you betray her, maybe.

But re: the OP.
One thing to remember is that most of these stories are fantasies, and a lot of guys have fantasies about 3somes, and really wish their wives would be willing to bring another woman into the mix. That way they don't have to deal with getting their wives into it, and then getting the other woman into it.

As far as reality goes, I'm kind of anti-infidelity of any kind these days, but one has to remember that people are human, and men and women especially so. Passion can be hard to sustain and temptation can be hard to resist. Circumstances have to be considered. Remember that noone is perfect in this respect, even God got his only son on another guy's wife.

It's a place I avoid, so I'm a little clueless about the genre and those who love/hate it, other than what I gather here.

I did do that, by the way. Thanks for reminding me. Maybe if I remember that, I mean, that I wrote it because I didn't see it and wanted to read it, so it's really about what I like, I can finish it. But I keep saying that. (I have made some progress, honest.)

Your right I don't particularly like the loving wives category but, I tend to avoid it. The stories I am thinking about were in the group sex catagory. I never understood people reading stories about a subject they don’t like then flaming the author for writing it. I have nothing but respect for the authors of lit and would never troll there stories to give them shit (even though I still have nightmares about one of them). I was just hoping to get people opinions about the subject.

Afraid I don't think such discussions are either helpful or constructive. Tastes are varied in what readers are looking for at Literotica, and the offerings are just as varied. I don't think there is anything to be gained by criticizing what others want to either write or read here--or that personal opinions on that have any particular usefulness other than trying to push one's views at others.
