Really, is it this one I just started? Is it this one that I'm asking authors how long it took to get a nodd on their last submission on?

BTW, I've posted 36 stories on this site not including the 2 I'm waiting to hear about. It's just that the system has been gradually slowing. My question stands.

Wish I had an answer for you, man. I submitted my Olympics story 5 days ago it has yet to even be looked at, far as I can tell.

I had three posted the other day. I think they were pending around 5-7 days. Can't remember exactly. They only showed 3 views before being posted (and that was like the day before.)

Not looked at-- that almost always means it somehow didn't actually get submitted.

Go in and hit the "pending" link (in blue).

Then hit the submit button again. Unless you want to make any changes after all this time. But if you like it as it is, this procedure will save you doing the entry in the box all over again.

It use to take only a few days. Maybe they have been getting complaints about people trying to break the rules and sneak underaged stuff in on them.

When I started submitting (material !!!) just about 1 year ago, it would take 3-4 days to get it up.

Lately, submissions seem to languish for a few days before even getting any views. Then there'll be 3-5 views (bang, bang, bang) followed by another lull.

Perhaps the approval process has been tweaked. Perhaps it's short summer staffing. Just guessing, though.

Is there an explanation posted somewhere detailing the journey of a new submission?
