What are the safe sex issues/ methods for fellating someone, lets say in a case where you don't necessarily know every detail of their sex life?

If you are unsure of someones sex status you should use a condom. Try a flavored one.

I agree, dont do it without a condom if you dont know the person. The flavored ones sound good, I 'll have to find some.

The flavored ones are fabulous! I've tried a couple of different ones (strawberry-kiwi, chocolate, raspberry, etc) but I find mint is the best. It gives a pleasant tingling sensation and feels great with warm breath on it. We've used them for sex with no irritation whatsoever. Even with oral, you get that great mint taste

Use condoms.
Just don't use the ones with Nonoxynol-9. It can make the tounge and mouth tingle and/or feel numb.

Chocolate and fruit punch leaves a horrible after taste. I have to agree with sabbathstorm, Mint is the best!
