I myself am a celt, born true, through and through. Seriously, me mum raised me with a sense of 'decorum' for lack of a better word. Treat all women with respect and more than a little admiration and life will return the favor. I must say though in the US that seems to be not true. Most women here do not appreciate a really good, intelligent conversation, which I find highly erotic and immensely satisfying as a prelude to lovemaking. Though I am new to this board posting environment, I too have noticed the level venom being spewed forth by other posters to be very discouraging. By the By Wanton, are you into Wicca or is that just a handle here. Just curious, sorry for prying.

Your Mum had the right of it and not just for women either, a little courtesy goes a long way and manners really do cost us nothing.

So no, I'm not into Wicca more of a pagan.

Well, not wanting to do the Olmert thing and invade Ireland over this, but I do want to defend US women ... I think they are quite intelligent on the whole, at least the ones I have known. Maybe you've been unlucky in the selection you've run across, or maybe they've just dumbed themselves down to try to fit in with us US males

No southern, I have had the pleasure of travelling all over this country, and the sad truth is that the women here are intelligent, but do not seem to recognize the value of said intellect in conversation. They are so busy dealing with the bush league "games" being played on them that they miss out on a lot of the good men. Perhaps I am a little too pessimistic though, I apologize most humbly Southern. Please forgive me ladies, I mean not to offend, merely to vocalize my experiences so far.
