Saddam has neither the resources nor the determination to go that far...

Haans, we're talking about a man who can hardly...
hold his own country together let alone carry out long term occupation of others.
This is pure supposition because you think he's a nutcase who's dangerous and I think he's nut case who isn't...
But let's say he took Kuwait and Saudi. What's he going to do, turn around and mop up all of the Middle Eastern States including Egypt and then turn around again and go south-east to attack the Gulf Arabs; whilst they're all standing around letting him do it?
Or maybe after he's got a grip on Kuwait and Saudi you see him hopping over the water with an invasion fleet bigger than the Normandy landings and going for India and Pakistan.
No way. As I said, the man is a localised bandit. Bush wants him to be more because it justifies his attack on Iraq and people like yourself and Texan go along with that because it makes your leader look like something he's not...
