Was reading at the above link about a S&M Tarot deck. Is anyone familiar with this deck? Anyone know where to get their hands on one, or more literally where I can get my hands on one?

They all claim to have "hard to find" or "rare" decks for sale. In a quick search, I couldn't find anything called SM, but it might be listed under something else. The first site easily had over 100 decks to choose from.

The Waite Rider, or Rider Waite deck is the most commonly used tarot deck as the pictures on the Minor Arcana cards are images of that particular cards meaning. eg the 4 of swords is Rest from Strife and has a figure lying down on a slab,with hands clasped, with a content look on his face. So they are a good beginners deck to learn with.Otherwise all you get are dics, wands,cups and swords like on a nomal playing deck and you need to memorise their meanings.The deck is easy to find in most bookshops or "new age" shops.
Oh traditionally you dont buy your own tarot deck, they should be given to you.

Neither Isis nor the Mystic Eye would carry it, I don't think. Though without seeing images of the cards it would be hard to tell... Try asking at tarotgarden.com

Also, I'm not sure that this would be a deck that somebody could actually read with. It might be better for just a collector. *pondering finding it myself*

Yes, a friend of mine is looking for the deck strictly to add to as collection. I have tried the links and searched on my own and still cannot find it.
I sent an e-mail to tarotgarden.com asking them if they had any information or sources.
landcruisergal I didn't know that about not buying your own deck. I am just beginning to learn about tarot, but will keep that in mind when I am ready for my first deck.

Will you let me know if you're able to find one? I wouldn't mind having a copy.

And remember, traditions are made to be broken. In the years I've been reading cards I've never had a deck given to me. Traded for quite a few, have bought dozens, but never had one given to me. The readings are still as accurate as anybody else's, and sometimes more so.

I figured if one of them wouldn't help, the other would. I've dealt with them many, many times and they're both wonderful ladies.

Besides, if they can't find it, it's probably not really in existance other than in somebody's twisted little mind. Either that or it was never printed. Good luck in any case.

the deck as it is laid out in the original posting seems to be not only useable as a "regular" divination tool but as a BDSM predictor as well,,,sounds interesting and I would love to check it out myself.. as for traditions I, too, believe they were meant to be broken as seen fit....good luck in your search wildone and blessed be

Its a beautiful deck, i saw one a few months back on ebay, but i was out bidded for it mores the shame, you could try incase.
I've been reading tarot from about 6 years now, since i was 16, and a great feeling about that deck, if you get one good work to you!
