Does anyone here read Russian? If you do, could you please drop me an email? Thanks a ton...

Yeah, I've got a Russian translator, but this is a job for a human being...these translators come up with sentences like "I are to be taking its pants to on floor".

LOL! Oh, God. I'm of partly Russian descent, but I can't help you. Now if it were Spanish...

you could ask Gnufi Poppets....

The crossed my mind...but first I have to have him translate his own posts before I move on to stuff in other languages.

Correct - several of them. They appear to be well written, as much as I can tell anyhow, not knowing Russian. I can muddle through many of them with a translator, but there's a couple that I have age questions on.

Very cool! But if you don't feel comfortable, I understand...I don't want to shock your friends with Russian porn...lol

*vaguely wonders what's going to happen when Korean slides across Laurel's desk and smirks* I'm rude that way. :D

Can you type in Korean? I didn't know the alphabet was on a keyboard. Or would you just do it phonetically in the English alphabet? Or should I just shut up and let KM make a joke?

Not to mention is anything in Danish, swedish or Norwegian came across her desk....hehehehe

I have a Korean wordprocessor. I can makee Korean alphabet on that and send it to her. I use my english keyboard with a Korean character set map sitting on the desk to pore over. I type 110+ in English. I type .05 in Korean, so it will be a while.

Plus, I think the character set will be a problem. I've got the story mostly written in longhand, I even have someone to proof it. If I can get ahold of him, he's been incommunicado since they PCSed him.

Laurel... I was a Russian Linguist in the Army... I know Russian, and would be happy to translate for you if you need.

Laurel

Your worries are over. I can help you. First, I have a friend...wait, I haven't seen him in years. Wonder what ever happened to Yakoff?

There is this guy at work here who's brother is being held for interrogation in a Russian prison camp just outside Moscow, but he'll be home any day...

Then I know this one guy who used to be in the Army during the Cold War...wait, Russian sets him off.

Ok, if I find anyone else, I'll get right on it!
