So, should we call Monday, April 3, 2006 "closing time" on the poll?

As of today's date, the Be Careful... idea has the most votes. Do we have a winner? I'd say so!


Now, I'll make this next part up to everyone. Should we leave this topic very broad? Or should we narrow it down to that "sexual conditioning" mix?
 
I'd say we need a general premise to go on... something similar for everyone... where is that thread??

These are four "Careful what you wish for" suggestions... are there any more?

We can do another poll to narrow these down, if we want...

if we leave it broad, the theme "Be Careful What You Wish For" seems too general for the original intent of the challenge...

If I understand it correctly, the original intent was to have many authors write the same story, to see how many different versions we could come up with?

It would seem to me that we wouldn't just need the same theme, we would also need the same premise, whatever we decide that is.

Back on the first thread I started we had a suggestion to mix the "be careful" idea with "sexual conditioning". Also, it was agreed upon that we didn't need to follow the "conditioning" to the letter... As in, it did not have to be hard core BDSM, etc.


Ideas on this? Yeay? Ney?
 
First in reference to my previous post. I dunno. I just didn't feel like saying bumpity bump or doing the Humpty Dance. That was a bit before my time.

I think the sexual conditioning is a good idea after all the idea is to see how different authors handle the exact same tools.
 
I agree with SelenaKittyn that I would like to see it narrowed down. And I'm all for the sexual conditioning/becareful what you wish for mix (considering I helped develop that link, hehe).
 
I wouldn't vote for that one (sexual conditioning) but I'll go with it if it's what the majority wants :)

Do you have some other suggestions for narrowing down the category? I'd love to hear them. :)
 
If ya'll aren't too sick of polls, I'd just put the narrowing-down suggestions into one, and let it be majority vote again... here are the few that were mentioned before:

-- A young couple wins a contest they entered for a free vacation to the mysterious Island of Elysium. Dreams (and nightmares?) come true.

-- A straitlaced wife with a sheltered background would like to be more outgoing and confident, but can't break free from her upbringing. Her husband seizes the opportunity to transform her into the woman she (and he) wants to be.

-- A compliant male convinces his girlfriend/wife to be more aggressive in bed. She and, eventually, her girlfriends, make him regret it.

-- Frat boy always wanted an inside look at a sorority party so he sneaks in and hides during a sorority sleepover. Was he ever sorry!

we can add sexual conditioning to that list, and if anyone has any others...

hmmm.....a woman wishes that hubby's was twice as long....then it hurts too much

or she wishes that her hubby was more like a woman, until he becomes a woman...

I made a new poll... (for someone who didn't even know how to create one a week ago, I've become like the Poll Queen! lol)

Sexual conditioning will probably win, but at least it will be organized and we'll know for sure, right?
