I was watching Running Man with Arnie on the telly last night when it occured to me that it was perhaps not such a far fetched idea after all.
With increasing amounts of more and more daring TV Reality shows and the increasingly right wing nature of US politics, it doesn't seem that impossible to imagine a real life Running Man show with Republicans filling up the seats to watch criminals being slaughtered in various horrific ways.
Its surely only a few steps away from the idea of the execution of the UN bomber being broadcast live on the internet.
As I sat back thinking about how horrible the world is becoming I then realised in horror that I was actually being a complete hypocrite.
If the republicans and right wing fanatics were the contestants, then I have a rather uncomfortable feeling that I might consider it entertaining.
