Greetings, fellow AH smutmeisters.
Over the past few weeks I’ve had the old Veg-a-matic routine (sliced, diced, and Julianned) from the medico’s. Both the operation on my back and the one on my eye seem to have gone well but healing-up is still ongoing and will be for some time.
The main problem for me is that following the corneal transplant, my eye is WAY out of focus. That’s SOP for these things and wouldn’t be that big a problem if I could have a lens implant. But my old orb is so beat-up that’s not possible.
In a few weeks, I should be able to get “cataract” glasses or, even better, a contact lens. After that things will come into something like normal focus and using the ‘puter won’t be the irritating inconvenience it is now. (I wrote this on WORD using a 36 pt font and it was still a bit blurry.)
Till that great gettin' up day, y’all keep writing, or whatever it is you prefer to do, and I’ll keep working on my patience.
