Rum

At least with all the 60's kids approaching retirement, students won't be hammered with New Age obsessions any longer. Now it will all be about life before AIDS. :rolleyes:

Not to mention, life before video games, cable TV, and the internet.

OOh, God! You mean you actually had to like go outside to play?

Um, no ... more like, you mean you actually were allowed to go outside to play?

Hell, mama ran us out with the broom. :D
I didn't quite get the broom treatment; my mama took a healthier approach:

"It's a nice day; go out and play to enjoy it."

"It's a miserable day; go out and play to build your character."

"You're not going to let a little thing like a hurricane keeps you indoors, are you?"

American Indian Weather Station = Large rock on a rope hanging from a tripod.

Rock Dry..... No Rain

Rock Hot..... Sunny Day

Rock Wet.... Rainy Day

Rock White.... Snowy Day

Rock Swinging..... Windy Day

Rock Gone..... Tornado

You mind if I put these in the recipe thread? :)

"Away! Away! With Rum, by gum; rum by gum; rum by gum;
Away! Away! With Rum, by gum;
The Song of the Salvation Army.

We don't allow fruitcake because it has rum,
And one little bite turns a man to a bum.
Oh, can you imagine a sadder disgrace
Than a man in the gutter with crumbs on his face.

Away! Away! With Rum, by gum; rum by gum;
Away! Away! With Rum, by gum; rum by gum;
The Song of the Salvation Army."

And many more verses...make up some of your own...
