When you start a post, if you scroll down from the blank box, you should see 'Manage attachments'.

Click on that, a box should come up. Go to browse to upload from your computer - but there are size limits. Find what you want and click 'Upload'.

The file should appear (if it is within the size limits) below the Manage Attachments button.

If you then right click on that file name, you can 'copy link location' into the text box. If you put square brackets around img at the start of the file and again around /img at the end, your picture should appear like this.
