They really are creepy

It seems like the entire "ruling class" are on such a creepy ego trip. I can't imagine what they think they add to society. They rule the world and look at how insane the whole world is becoming. You would think that all of the pompous and arrogant rulers would look at what a mess they have made of the world and resign.

Yo. In prison, one of my cellmates claimed to be a duke. Every time he used the toilet, he'd finish with a royal flush.
