I think it would be hot if there was a story about a royal family that had nearly all of it's family members killed off by an illness. The only remaining family members is a mother and son. Due to a strange law the mother and son must marry and give birth to children. So basically it is a Mom/Son royal family pregnant story.

What is so odd about this? Brother/sister incestuous marriages were more or less compulsory in Ancient Egypt. The royal families of Europe from the eighteenth century on were so intermarried that it was almost impossible to disentangle how any one was related to another. Other cultures have had similar traditions.

I'll admit I've watched this story idea since the beginning; hoping it would expand and grow. Do we have a "period piece" author that is interested in this tale? I know I'd read it!
