rope work

hello, i am a long time member, but i have not been here for quite some time. i have a question, and knew this was definitely the place to come. my Master would very much like to learn more about rope work, and i have purchased rope that will be arriving shortly. i am trying to find websites for Him that are more tutorial in nature so He can learn knots and the like. any suggetions? i am having a hard time finding where to look! thank You all in advance for Your time in helping me.

I'm learning about rope and knots and stuff and practice a lot of self breast bondage. There are a few threads in the cafe (one by me and one by RJ come to mind first)

if you google you can find some potential knots. I find that half the fun is finding a knot and then thinking abotu what to do with it.

Another great resource: the Knotty Boys. They have a book on amazon that includes some of the clearest diagrams I've ever seen and they also now have lessons on youtube. Plus, I just have a soft spot for them since their local - sf - and very sweet.

I'm fairly well accomplished at ropework now but still go back to the basics I picked up from books.

You can accomplish a great deal just by practising with a small piece of soft rope and keeping it initially simple.

Here's an example of VERY basic ropework (from my girls erotic pic thread) which I did recently. It's exceedingly simple and safe (that's the key really, keep things safe as possible).

What I did there consisted of very little in the way of knots, more just a series of simple loop-overs and crosses, as is illustrated by this shot. You'll find you can do similiar in no time at all if are both interested and keen. Good luck!
