YAY soft bunny fur.........

The pelts work out at approx 50 cents US each. Not sure I am going to enjoy stitching hide though. May take some research.

As I recall Wench you did this shopping for kink frenzy once before when Sir Face had the thread in Talk. Fairly certain you weren't the only one either.

Yes I go thru spurts of it. For a while I wasn't creating anything, but since I've been working on slave garb for a friend this month I've been going a little crazy with the "ooh that looks like it would hurt" shoping. Not sure the connection really but since I have some one who will help me find out what hurts and what really fucking hurts I'm enjoying the moment and not questioning it too much. *giggles*

The pelts look wonderful. I have an old rabit coat that some one gave me in my material bag that I was going to make a teddy bear out of for that person....now I'm pondering on it's other posibilities.

I'm finding that I'm enjoying making toys that I know will hurt like no other. I seem to be walking down the isles in the craft store and hardware stores looking for things that will have more sting and more bite. I think I'm learning an apreciation for those sinsations where before I would avoid them and seek out more thudy and textile feelings. Right now I'm on a hunt to find the perfect combination of both thud and sting. A heavy sting if you will.

I've made or personalized several items for our play. One item in particular is incredibly simple yet amazingly harsh. I had a piece of scrap wood left over from some project. It is 1 1/2" x 1/2" and was already rounded on all the edges. I cut it to about a foot long to form a nice handle.

I then cut a piece of ~1/8" rubber gasket sheet material (basically just large squares of rubber that can be found in a hardware store) just a touch narrower than the handle and with about a foot long fall. I screwed it to the handle and then wrapped the handle in black duct tape. It was simple and didn't seem like much when I did it but let me tell you, it is by far the harshest implement we have! Even light application is quite noticable and I can't imagine most folks holding up too long under any actual concerted effort. It is both heavy on the flesh and stings like mad.

I have no doubt that hard use could break skin along the edges of the fall. But with less exertion it leaves the most lucsious long wide welts.

Aside from the need to be in the hands of a conscientious dominant, my biggest caution for this device is it has a tendancy to wrap around the body. If the end isn't aimed well, the strap will snap around the ribs, thigh, etc. Not only does this increase the intensity of the slap at the end of the strap, but it can be hazardous as the tip may contact undesirable areas or areas where such force was not meant to be employed. An accidental wrap that slaps the genitals can be scene-stopping or what was meant to be a moderate strike to the back but wraps around and snaps the rib cage can be very painful.

But used wisely and carefully it is quite a device indeed. I never would've thought it when I made it but it is. And sometimes I wonder about the wisdom in my choice to create it.

Yes in fact I am wearing some now , it's overkill but hey .
