Thanks for the encouragement Wicked and Emerald. I'll hang out a bit here in the future. Here's another one.
Rooms
Solitude awaits in our rooms
Or is it loneliness
We venture in there when all seems dark
Only to find no light
Do we take the chance and open the door
To someone who may be welcome
Someone who may have the key
How can they?
No one sees my walls
Or understands what covers them
Pictures and posters
Line them only for me to see
What if, though, this person has hung the same?
Would it be a sin not to share?
Living life an unread book.
Would that person understand?
Or would they only see pain?
Pity I’m afraid of
I open my door to you
The only one to share my room.
I’ve looked through your door too
I adore the light before me
And all I have to say is
I am unable to break your heart
As it is the heart you’ve presented to me
