Seven inches so far still coming down. A plane just slid off the runway at Midway Airport and hit a car on 55th Street.

Holy man! *shaking my head* I'm sure that'll even make the Green Bay news tonight. Hope no one was seriously hurt.

Sure 'nuff, Zeb... lead story both last night and this morning.

Meanwhile, g'morning, room. There's always something peaceful and hopeful about starting a new day. For the first time all week it's above 0° as I wake up... all the way up to 14°! There's a new layer of an inch of powdery snow most everywhere; the plows have already come down my street and the road looks clear, at least.

Here's hoping everyone's day is better than they think it is... and if a cheer-up thought is needed, it's now officially eight hours until the weekend.

In the meantime, warm hearts and safe travels.
