If that's the case and Ryan is the GOP VP nominee, it's a good pick for Romney.
I've seen Ryan in interviews and he's sharp. He's brings serious conservative cred to the Romney campaign.
It still leaves Romney really light on international policy, but I don't see that as a serious drawback in the general election.
