“All sex begins and ends in the brain.”

So does anyone else here prefer writing taboo romance? For the last few years, I’ve written more thought provoking and realistic fiction between mothers and sons, often centering on the social and moral obstacles from the mother’s perspective. I like throwing the religious arguments in there too, delving in the mother’s own struggles with her beliefs, thus making the final hookup even more rewarding.

So my question for the taboo authors here, do you enjoy writing more introspective taboo, or just “go for the throat” in your setup?

So Avrim smashed daddy's idols, and God protected him. Then he married and impregnated his sister Sarai. God chose him not his brothers or other kin, God gave them Isaac and new names Sarah and Abraham.

Ishmael was older (the son of Avrim and Sarai's slave Hagar) and not the product of sibling incest but he was not chosen.

Avrim's nephew Lot, God turns his wife into a pilar of salt. But is totally cool with Lot's two daughters seducing dad and bearing him Adim and Moab. Be fruitful and multiply is the prime directive.

Avrim's brother Nahor II married their niece (Lot's sister) Milcah, thier grandchildren through Bethuel are Laban and Rebecca.

Becky marries Isaac, and his son Jacob marries Laban's daughters Leah and Rachel.

So Jacob's twelve sons. The founders of ALL twelve tribes... All twelve are related to Terah his great grand dad tice through their father (Abraham and Sarah) Eight are related to Terah twice trough their mother (Nahor II and Haran)... The other four are related to Terah on their mothers side but only through one route...

Incest Immoral? Buhwah-ha-ha! Next thing "they" say will be that Polygamy is immoral...

Besides the aforementioned Avrim and Jacob and Lot maybe we should ask King David and King Solomon, the first had at least 7 wives, the other 700. They both wrote books of the Bible...

Incest taboos are interesting, but I am not interested in mother son incest or father daughter incest or brother sister incest.

What I have been thinking for years, is a twin incest, a female identical twin incest. I do not want to get the twins right into bed and having wild sex with each other. I want it to be kind, thoughtful, debated in detail with the twins. They explain a clear interest with each other. They talk about the downside if it becomes public knowledge.

Aah, so you know the silliness of it too? LOL

Religious sex is the silliest and maybe the costliest. Add it up.

ObTopic: I've written much incest with many taboo-breaking triggers that I can almost believe. Romantic lust ain't one of-em. It's usually gratitude, or guilt, or trauma, or custom, or "it just happens", often with threesomes and moresomes. But I can't convince myself to write romantic incest, not amongst close family. Siblings can be close but parent-child must be distant enough.

I've written sibling incest (twin sisters and a brother), and mother-son incest, and I'm working on a father-daughter story. I always try to have a bit of romance in there, as in the kind of love you normally feel for your romantic partner. I try to make the case that the love we feel for family members isn't all that far removed from the love we feel for our significant other. I'm not sure I believe that, but I try to inject the idea into my stories. I think it makes them make more sense.

I love that idea. FF turns me in to no end and the twin angle is very thought provoking. I will put pen to paper, figuratively speaking, and see what comes out. You can contact me through my profile page OttawaGuy50s.
