A Story Focusing on the Secrecy of the Taboo Relationship

It might've been done before, but I'd like to share my thoughts anyway. I'm not confident of my writing abilities, I'm just giving some ideas for you writers.
The main idea is that this relationship must be taboo in nature, and the story must be told from the inside perspective (from the person doing the act). By taboo, I mean acts that are unethical (yet legal) and/or if found out would cause turmoil in the story. Cheating is an obvious one, but incest, teacher-student or boss-employee relationship would also fit the criteria. For me, LGBT relations on its own is NOT taboo, as well as sharing in a committed relationship.
Now since this is all too general, so I'd like to narrow it down by focusing on stories that emphasize the affair/secrecy part of this relationship. Maybe they need to keep meeting in secret, maybe they can't keep their hands off each other and are almost caught.
Bonus points if the story is a slow burn, extra bonus points if the relationship keep getting more and more dangerous and ends with a crashing climax.

Gee, almost any incest story, Mom/Son, Mom/Daughter, Brother/Sister, most likely have what your looking for. Or some of the Loving Wives stories out there. There are thousands of stories out there, there would probably more than a few of what you're looking for in there somewhere, but I would be most are focused on the pleasure the two or three get from each other.

Cousins fits this idea well. In most places, marriage to a cousin is at least somewhat taboo (ta, Darwin). However, in most places, cousin-marriage is still entirely legal. So it's both a big deal, and entirely legal. The pressure to keep it secret is entirely cultural.

I do have a very slow burn cousin tale in the works, but that's been coming for six months so far, so don't look to me for this one.

But then, one of them gets promoted, so that they become the other ones boss! This is completely prohibited by company policy, so now they REALLY have to keep it a secret.

Of course one could ask for a transfer to another department, but then they wouldn't get to go on their frequent business travel together.

Why does it have to be a man and a woman? How heteronormative of you! It could be two men, two women, two non-binary were-selkies, or two hermaphrodites from Alpha Centauri.

But I agree. The author has to decide which one gets the promotion because that would have a profound effect on the dynamics of the story. This actually did happen to a friend of mine, which is where I got the idea, and it was the man who got promoted. They stayed together, surreptitiously, for several years until he left the company for a better job in another city.

As far as 'taboo' is concerned, I tend to write about single events as opposed to relationships. As such, the requirement for ongoing secrecy is diminished. Indeed, although I hadn't considered the matter before, I can see that there is scope for actual heightened drama if the fact of the 'deed' either becomes known by others immediately or in due course. Members of a family getting to discover what Granny was up to with grandson, for example.

I've had 3 situations in my past that have come to mind and could make for a hot sexual secret relationship. (1) My wife was at the least having an emotional affair for real with a co-worker of hers, she would mention him at home to me and I know she liked this guy, he was also calling her late at night it was a cuckold thing for me. So, it would be a cuckold story with a wife having an affair with a co-worker and trying to keep it a secret from other workers.
(2) I did actually work with one of my sons' friends a few years ago, he was 28 at the time and he told me how he wanted the fuck this other friend's mom that was divorced and also worked there. So, there you'd have a friends mom fucking around with another co-worker but he's her son's friend. This also was a true thing that I was told.

Personally, I would imagine the sex could get old. The secrecy, the risk of getting caught, is what keeps the sex so hot and enjoyable. There HAS to be some "worry" there - the more they worry, the higher the risk, the greater the pleasure they get from the sex!

Her bosses-boss tells her boss, "What good is he", and is about to fire him when the woman says she will keep working, and needs the man to do administrative stuff so he can still be her boss. It appears she has integrity, but the story ends with them in the backroom, him on his knees tasting her to orgasm. When her shuttering stops she tells him to start again. He whines "but that was your third time", but she just spreads her legs wider as he dips his tongue down for a fourth taste. The power dynamic has shifted, and yet as a lady she can orgasm over and over and over...

I started to write one where a lady snowshoes out to this old hermit camp out in the woods. She lights a fire in the stove and gets the place warm, then gets naked and crawls up into a book being the secret-nudist that she is. To her shock, an older man comes in, having seen the smoke from the chimney and wondered who was there. She finds out what she thought she owned, belonged to her elderly neighbor, her not seeing the property line in the snow from where her and her husband had bought their farm. She is embarrassed by her nudity, but caught just lets him look.

Over time they form a friendship, with him starting up the fire so when she arrives for her nude reading, its already warm. For that he visits her, his work being paid by her nude beauty, until her affection grows to the point where she sexually wants him instead of her overworking husband who pays no attention to her.

Where it goes from there, I was never sure, and never finished it.

Okay, I've had a year to think about it, and I think I agree with this. Most of the incest on Lit has zero content focused on worrying about getting caught. There is some guilt, sometimes, but rarely any worry about consequences. Maybe there should be! Everyone knows that forbidden fruit is the sweetest treat.

TBH, I personally don't see an appealing of the story focusing on the secrecy of the taboo relationship. Unless it's more light-hearted like:

1. They like it loud, but they can't because their neighbour would hear and start asking questions.

2. They're at the party and try to find a place for a quickie. But wherever they go, someone interrupts there.

3. They're at the party again, horny for each other. So they tease each other, gropping and such while trying not to be seen.

As I've mentioned, I'm not into incest stories as much as some. But the secrecy idea is more intriguing.

Two work colleagues having an affair and fraternization is highly frowned upon at work. Particularly in the military.
A person falling in love with their best friend's most hated ex or the one the best friend is trying to get with.
Dating a former stepdad.
Your ex is HATED by your family, but you just can't keep your hands off them.
Dating someone your family will totally disapprove of. Like your dad is the grand poobah in the KKK and you're dating a black person. Lots of drama there.
