Hey all!

I was wondering if any of you would consider sharing any of your romantic stories : Plans you made for your sweetie, romantic evenings, surprises... anything of the sort!

The last thing I asked was how I could impress my girl, but the best piece of advice I received was to be myself! I completely agree... (THank U, Privy!)... but now, I do need some ideas for a romantic evening! And... since all of you are so cool....

On our first valentine's day together, I came home to a dark house. When I turned on the light, I saw that he had rose petals and little slips of paper with 'I love You' printed on them, create a pathway to my bathroom, where the tub was drawn and a glass of wine sat on the side of the tub. I still had not heard a peep out of him. He was nowhere to be found. Beside the wine was a note that read ' take a bath'. I slipped into the tub and relaxed for an hour or so. When I heard the radio playing in the living room. Suddenly the lights went off in the bathroom. He walked in and walked back out turning the lights back on on his way out. there laid a second note, It said ' meet me in the dining room. I got our of the tub and slipped on my robe which he had hung on the hook in the bathroom. I walked into the diningroom to a candel light dinner and my hubby in a tux. What proceeded was the most romantic dinner, I have ever had. And then of course a wonderful night of sex. That was the best Valentine's surprise I have ever had. This type of thing should impress any woman. It sure impressed me and still does 9 years later.

Well this is for my one year annivesiry and not valentines day but....

I want to either have a ring or braccelet made with our birthstones interlocking.

Aww!

You guys! Those are the coolest things! If my lover ever did something like the whole bath and dinner scene... I'd melt. Man, I think this is helping! -starts to have visions- LOL Thank you!

The key is to do something original. A woman will melt if she knows that you time and energy into creating the perfect evening. The time and energy are so much more important than a tangible object. Flowers die, candy is eaten, but the feeling that someone feels like you are worth that much thought will last always.

:)

Man... sounds like a Hallmark card! ;) *laughs* Hm.. I'll think of something, and then run it by you guys to see what you think, hm?
