How about with the theme that a Zebra never changes his stripes? Woman is married when she meets a man and falls in love with him. She divorces her husband and marries the other man. Conflict over the other man is an outsider. The woman is pressured into divorcing and remarrying her exhusband. The woman realize that the outsider is the only man who truly loved her, but she can't go back to him. The outsider has to live with a broken heart.

Well, to be honest. There's a lot of r/l stories that end like this.

Where the woman is somewhat "forced" into marriage. A marriage in which she never feels truly fulfilled, but to have the opportunity to go back to the one you truly love only deciding later to put yourself back into the situation in which she was unhappy.


the only way I see that working into a story is if there's abuse. The ex-husband threatens the love of her life and she is left with no other choice but to save the one she loves most. That's more on the romantic tragedy side. I'm not sure how the erotica side would fit into that.

No think about it, you got a married guy who is in the military and a war starts, off he goes to fight leaving her alone on the military base. They trade letters, at first just normal stuff that turns erotic, then say, he gets some R&R time and gets drunk and ends up sleeping with a native gal. He confesses it all to her and says since I had an affair you may as well do it to, I know those toys aren't keeping you happy anyway, just please tell me all about it.
