I am new at this. so here goes. Tell me what your most romantic moment. The sweetest love making you have ever had. Give me some input. Lets see where this goes. If not, Oh well, I tried. LOL

GE:kiss:

Hello, welcome to Lit.:) Very nice post....

My most romantic moment occured when I was 20 and falling in love with my first lover. We were standing outside saying goodbye, it was dusk, and it started to snow, at the precise moment he kissed me for the first time. A few months later on my birthday, he gave me this tiny little box, and inside it was a charm......a snowflake. :)
As our romance went along, every few days, he would stop by work and present me with a bouqet of flowers that he would gather from the side of the road, out in fields, anywhere he saw some that he liked, even if it took him out of his way, or alot of time to do. It was always daisies.
To this day, daisies and snowflakes are two of my favorite things, and he is still one of my closest friends, 21 years later.

That was also with him. :) Though I was so young and inexperienced and had not as clue about my sexuality, it was the romance of it all and my love for him that made it so very sweet and tender. We loved for hours, by candle light, on a blanket in the floor with pillows and wine, and Motown playing, it filled the entire house, and us too.

I love making love with a man with candles, music. Dancing, swaying, your bodes so close. I also made love on the beach once. That was very romantic and very hot and the same time. LOL. THe beach was deserted, sun was going down. He layed a blanket down, pull me down on him. We started kissing, caressing one another. He had some fruit, cheese, wine in the basket. We made love for over an hour. Feeling the heat, hearing the ocean. Ohhh so nice. smile

OB!!!:D Hi sweetie, how nice to bump into you!:rose:

It was a very sweet love, and as he was an *older* man, he gave me so many useful things that are still a part of me now. He's just a beautiful and tender, funny man, and thats why he touched me so, and is still in my life today. :)

I'm sorry, I missed this a moment ago...

This sounds absolutely perfect...the combination of the sound of the ocean, being outside, dusk, the wine......MY God, Woman, how did you survive it??;)

that was before I was married. I was young, so much in love. It was so beautiful. I wish I could have that all back again. I will be 46 in a few weeks and I crave for all of that romance, love making on the beach, anywhere !! LOL I have a good husband, romantic, loving, but we dont have the time as we used to have.

I can relate to this, after 14 yrs of marriage the romance flame doesn't burn as bright as it once did.

Married 17 years here. Like I said, good man, good sex, but not enough sex ! lol and not enough time. I want those hot, sweet love making days back

The most romantic thing ...

When I was in college, I was dating this man (who was my first real love and first serious relationship). However, at the time, we were *just* friends. LOL... only because we didn't know that we were actually falling in love! Every Saturday night, we would go out and have dinner and a movie. One particular night, he picked me up early and took me to our favorite take-out place. He seemed preoccupied with time, rushing a bit and making sure we had everything ready. We got our food and then headed out to LA somewhere I have never been. He parked in front of this hill, popped open the trunk and grabbed a blanket. I'm still baffled as to what's the rush!

He carried our food and our blanket up this hill... spread the blanket on the floor and pulled me down next to him. I look at him curiously and said... "What's going on?" He said to me ..."I've always wanted to watch the sunset with someone special and I wanted you to be the one that I share it with." So, we sat there and ate our food while my heart melted and watched the sunset in silence. It was simply amazing.

To this day, he's still in my life and one of my bestest friends. :)

Honestly and with the most sincerity...

I don't get that. Maybe it's cause I've never been married. I just don't understand getting to the point of loving someone enough to marry them and then things change. How does this happen?

Why can't the flame keep burning brightly?

The love is still there, very much. But when you have children, work, etc. that gets pushed back to the corner. My husband works long hours, I have the kids., work, house. But when we DO have the time its great !. But its not enough. Does that make sense?

Sweet...so sweet. ;)

OB...dear, theres a litany of reasons that are at play here, but I don't have alot of time to express it right now. Besides, it should come from him, I just didn't want to seem overlook you. :) :rose:

It does and it doesn't.

The single mom in me completely understands the demands on time and schedule.

The hopeless romantic in me doesn't understand making sure that everything stayed the same, if not got better as far as the love was concerned. I'd try to always keep things new and alive. YES, that's alot of work.. but I'd give it my best shot.

S'ok Intrigued... it wasn't necessarily directed at him.. He just made the post. I've wondered over this phenomena for a long time.

Oh, one last post, just because it's GE's thread! And what a good thread, too. Nice to see you, honey!!!

Aaaah, romance....

I can remember a picnic lunch on a cliff over looking the ocean. Private with sound of waves reaching up to us. The feeling of the sun on us as we (carefully) made love under the open sky. (It was a long way down!):D

Sigh....GE I'll make a pact with you....I won't give up on romance if you don't.;)

Weed !!!!!! Mwahhhhh

Weed, I never give up. I am determined !! Must be the German in me, wink, Very stubborn!! LOL Say hi to that Sexy German Stud wink

On my Birthday

It was September 17, 1988. I had a lover and it being my birthday I knew she had something planned only I beat her to it. After we did what she wanted to do, we returned to the house. When she went up to the bathroom there were rose petals all around the tub, several candles with a lighter next to them so they can be lit. She had this thing about making love with strawberries in the mix so I left a note for her to look in the fridge and there she found the strawberries. While she went to the fridge I turned on the bath and put the bubbles in. I got in the tub and when she came up, she was already naked and jumped in next to me. I began massaging her and feeding her the strawberries. After a while my mouth went down to her perky nipples. To make a long story short, she straddled me in the tub and we went at it slowly. After a while we dried off and went to the bed where I taught her some new tricks with the strawberries. We made love for what seemed like hours and fell asleep in one anothers arms.

Mwahhh back:D

I will do that and then some to that German friend of mine.

Perhaps stubborn isn't the only German attribute you have....sexy, too.;)

And if you are stubborn and sexy....you'll find that romance, yet.:rose:

Mmmmm Vinny
