From what I understand, the difference between these two categories is this:
Erotic couplings:
Person meets hot guy or girl and they fuck like bunnies. The end.
Romance:
Person meet hot guy or girl and they get to know each other before fucking like bunnies--which may or may not include wine, candlelight and a walk in the rain.
I'm just trying to decide where to place a story. Is it "erotic coupling" because the relationship is transitory if a great deal of fun? Is it romance because the story is about gaining deeper feelings and a relationship in addition to having fun?
What is the difference?
