Looking for a story from several years ago about a minor league baseball player that is taken in by a family for the season. They have a separate house for him and he connects with the family's high school daughter, who is an athlete. He progresses through the system and finally makes 'the show' and reconnects with the daughter years later. Thanks for any help!
