We're not sure there's a market, but My Pita and I have just posted the first chapter of what we hope will become a novel .... depending a lot of course on the comments we get. (Shameless hint in middle of shameless plug! )

We know there is a huge market for Romance, and a smaller one for D/s fiction ... but whether they can be easily combined is another question.

Let me know what you think!

I'll check it out.

I did something similar in my stories The Gift and Fatima.

The Gift is my most voted on story, still collects votes and comments after being up for over a year and has held top spot a number of times despite the troll's best efforts.

Done bragging. ;)

lol, I think I'll go post in the "envy" thread -- that, after all, is what I'd love to have happen.

And thanks in advance!

i have one for you

I wrote a story involving a woman's initiation into bdsm, the hard way, and tempered it with love(lesbian style) and some fun and games as well. The story is called, Life at Last, in bdsm. Might help round out your story. let me know what you think, thunk, thought. Lance

Thanks for the interest and reference, Lance. I'll take a look ... right now ours is doing pretty well. I hope you enjoyed it.

Best wishes,

BDSM is a challange, example i love 9 1/2 weeks but a couple of my coworkers hated the movie. What i've learned is that most women who hate 91/2 weeks were in some sort of an abusive relationship (xboyfriend, father - mental and or physical)....

the idea, of submission for me is very erotic i just worry that its a small market...that is my two cents

You're certainly right about that, jeninflorida! Especially compared to the market for Romances, lol.

But it's not so small that it's a "boutique" item ... there are, for example, major discussion boards with lots of participants both here and at Collar Me. Alt.com has many thousands of "eager" BDSM folk looking for partners. In the Atlanta area where I am, local 'munches' in several towns around draw 20-50 folk each and there is enough interest to support a well-equipped and nicely decorated dungeon that is professionally run.

I guess it's more of a niche market since, as you indicate, most folk have real issues with it in any of its forms. It is a place for the mavericks certainly.

Our thought, in writing "Owning Pita" is that it can be expanded somewhat with a softer approach and by creating a romance rather than a more male-oriented approach. There is, in fact, an entire line of X-films coming out now along this line, though I can't recall the producer.

would love to hear about the movies coming out, also, i get a lot of emails from men, asking how they can submit to his wife. its kind of different, when you think about some CEO who wants his wife tol Collar him. kind of makes sense though, as he's making decisions all day long and wants his wife to take control when he comes home.
