So how was your day??????

Mine was rather busy working on an art commission, nearly finished Went shopping with my Mum for my daughter's b'day present, paid way to much for a doll that talks, pees and walks. Just waiting for the kids to go to bed right now and then I'm gonna be trimmed to perfection....

Mine kinda sucked. First off a friend of mine came over who I don't think likes me anymore. He barely talked to me and when he was leaving he gave me a lame hug and I said "You should call me more often" he said "I don't call anyone". Which I know is a lie because he calls my friend Kristy everyday. AND I want to go to the Chicago Lit Together thingy but NO I have to work. There is no way out of it. Then I worked a short shift and found out that the cute guy across from me IS staring at me (okay so that DIDN'T suck). I realized on the way home from work I had a friend coming over and I no longer felt like company. So the whole time they were here I wasn't being very sociable. I know, that was mean. But they left early. Then I finally got to eat something. Then I came online.

woke up at 3.30 am - fed lil wookie - went back to sleep until 6.30 am - drank coffee that had been made for me "bless him" - went back to sleep until 8.30 am - lay in bed - fed lil wookie his bottle, watched the kids programmes....... got up and fed lilwookie his cereal..... put him back to bed....had shower.......surfed the net......... had lunch........fed lil wookie - did some washing....... went shopping........took photos to be developed......bought flowers for the garden....... picked daughter up from school.......went home and fed lil wookie (yet again) and planted flowers in the garden...
played with lilwookie - made him giggle his head off........ sat down had coffee - fed lilwookie his veges.... came to work - been here ever since........... all in all a pretty cruisy day!

My day is just starting here. TGIF indeed! I'm hoping more people are back from vacation today because the workload has been insane the past few days.

My day was fabulous. My new hard drive is installed, and the CPU fan that was rattling incessantly has been replaced by one that doesn't. I now get to begin the laborious task of transferring various files to the new hard drive and weeding out the stuff I don't want or need anymore.

I was down to the last of our groceries, and I still managed to create a minor culinary masterpiece. I swear, I make the best food when I have to get inventive with scarce ingredients.

The downside is there's an awful lot of bitchiness going around these days, and I've had to walk on eggshells around people with ego issues. One of these days, I'm going to snap and belt out something like, "Why don't you do something useful with your life, like invent a shutthefuckupatron?"

But I'm nice, so I don't say things like that. Aloud.

I totally did not get any work done today, and my article is due Sunday. Ah, procrastination. Business as usual.

Just trying to get started here for the day. My little one has show and tell as well and since it has to be something that starts with I, E, or U he wants to take underwear. I need coffee before tackling this one but I have found an indian that can stand in.

One of my coworkers in the office I got transferred from... is from New Zealand! lol

I couldn't place her accent for anything in the world, so I just had to flat out ask her where she was from.

Her NZ accent has been a bit Texanized. lol

When you see her in the mornings say "Kiora" to her. Pronounced "key-or-a". That is how we say hello in the Maori language here in New Zealand...


As for my day. It's Saturday 8.30am and I've just got out of bed. Got about 3 hours work ahead of me and then an afternoon of cutting and stacking firewood....

I finished the first week of school and had a great week!

My kidlings have been particularly loving, there is chocolate ice cream in the frigerator and it is Friday.

I didn't get enough sleep last night and ended up re-caffinating today. So I may have to do the whole caffiene headache thing again.

Beyond that, calc seriously clicked for me yesterday and I rocked and rolled through it today. Java was a lot easier to "get" than I thought it would be. I thought I'd be the skin-of-my-teeth student, but I'm sitting comfortably in the middle of wannabe computer geekdom.

I got told I was in a bad mood today because I decided to be quiet instead of my usual smart-assed self. Excuse the fuck outta me if I can't be "on" all the time.



Okay on second thought, maybe I was a little pissy, but I'm getting a little tired of being an afterthought. I guess that's what happens when you're the token male.


Self medicated with a couple of G 'n' T's so it's not so bad now.

My day was great. I spent the whole day hanging out with my honey. We wandered around town for a while, and I even got a head start on a little Christmas shopping.
