Yes, finally a thread for us gaming geeks. What character race are you? Are you aloof like an Elf? Are you as funny as a Gnome? Do you like the simple things in life, like a Halfling? Are you a hard worker, like a Dwarf? Are you an outcast, like a Half-Orc? Or do you just feel out of place, like a Half-Elf? Perhaps you are none of these and you're just a Human.

What's your character class? Are you quick to anger, like a Barbarian? Are you as artistic as a Bard? Religious like a Cleric? Nature loving like a Druid? Do you like physical activitives - maybe you're a Fighter! Or quite and comtemplative like a Monk? Noble like a Paladin? Strong and Quiet like a Ranger? Sneeky and suspicious like a Rogue? Are you mystical like a Sorcerer, or are you stuffy and academic like a Wizard?

Alignments? Ability Scores? :D

Bah! Nobodies getting the idea... guess I'll go first. :D

I'm a Gnomish Psion! Funny but very weird. :) I'm probably Chaotic Good... er.. maybe Chaotic Neutral at times.

Oh, you could tell that I was a gamer..eh?

Haha..yeah, I’m such a geek.

I’ve played in so many types of games..
Just about every system made..

My favorite World is Jarune.
Not a huge Car Wars fan..

My husband has written numerous game systems and modules..for a major company.

The games he ran were amazing. It got to the point where people would call and book his time to run a game.

He made up his own World which in the end..I believe was as flushed out as any World could ever be..Tolkien would be proud.

As of late..we’ve run a lot more Interactive Fiction pieces for the public than sit down dice and paper games.

I’m still very fond of my dice..
I’ve been in games that have held amazing amount of perfect kismet.

I have characters that I still dream about.

How's this?
I play a silver furred garou who's powers are controlled by a talisman that she wears around her neck. She has no pack nor loyalties. She carries with her a sword of royalty, and the mark of a ronin.

Or this...
A inverse winged tigress. Ebonyfire is a black tiger with orange stripes, and black feathered wings. She is rather large in size and believed to be Monkene by many. Is she a were? Perhaps. She is a bounty hunter that carries a bow and quiver of special arrows on her shoulder, the tips made of diamond and sure to penetrate their mark.

Oh yeah..
I forgot to answer the question..

Well, you know how us geeks can ramble on and on..amongst our own kind.
~grins~

My favorite character is a Chaotic Good Ranger.

Gamer Sign... ;)

I *really* like the old RuneQuest system... for a lot of reasons. Right now, though, I'm immursed in D&D 3rd. I love the new system.

Heh. I sooo want to ask... but I won't. :)

Ah yes... :D I've got this dream character, something of a Gandalf like character, but younger and slightly on the wickedly humorous side. Quard Daebyl... :)

Okay.. seriously...
The silver furred garou. I have am chaotic good with a warped sense of nobility. I protect the good of heart and seek out vengeance on ones that hurt those that I care about. Very shy with few friends, but those I have I would fight to death for. I'm loyal 100%

I like to play a sardonic, obnoxious environment lovin' human.

Just for yucks

My RPG days are mostly over now. But way back when I played a lot. I was:

Thorson, a human alchemist.

Str. 16
Int. 18
Dex. 17

(These were the basic stats but were augmented later.)

and I forget the rest.

nuetral/lawful

My primary goal was the creation of the "Philosphers Stone". This required many intermediate steps and the acquisition of many rare elements and artifacts.

I had acquired a very usefule inventory of 'enchanted' weapons and talismans from various magic users along the way. Some from adventuring, some from providing the mages with materials that they required for there studies and spells.

Same as you Dhalgren... me and husband (who create world and games) have been big time players since the beginning of Dungeon and Dragon and yes First edition... darn I'm old... lol... Games rules our spare times: roleplayig, board game (big strategic game), computer game, nintendo game, Playstation 2 game, sexual game (most keep Literotica board content)...

As for what I'm playing usually its a thief Chaotic Good... sometime Chaotic Neutral or a Cleric who make other pay for the cure spell...

I own and operate a MUD. For gaming geeks, they should know what it is, but to clarify for non-geeks out there... it's a multi user domain, text based rpg online. Mine is kingdoms based, medieval fantasy.

My main char is Gillian, a siren thief. She is my owner char, though, so level, stats, etc, are all maxed out.

Next, I have Alebesi, who is a winged elf warrior, and who can kick some serious ass in combat. She's a throw back from a mud we were on before we started our own. On that one, she was almost unstoppable. Her player kill record was somewhere near 25 kills, 2 deaths. And I wasn't picking on the weak guys to pad that stat, it was all legitimate kills :)

I have tons of chars still, but most I use for just RPing, and pay hardly any attention to stats or levels. I'm an RP geek ;)

Oooooooooooooh a mud... *glances at the muck and mud screen she has up at the moment* Speaking of rp areas.. that is how I ended up here... *grins*

My characters have no stats... *pouts* then again.. No killing is allowed in these two.
I use to belong to a Chrono Cross mud but it went bye bye...

If anyone is interested however... Here is a character of mine.. The hands are wrong because I have them seperate from the wings, but it was free drawing :)

Quarter Elven Sorceror/Monk, Neutral Good. Ability scores? lol

I played AD&D, btw.

My favorite characters of all time were a theif, a monk and a mage. The thief was actually a fighter/thief. He made it to 6/7th level before he had to, um, disappear. Most famous thief Waterdeep had (n)ever seen. :)

The Monk was a 13th level Master who died trying to find a way out of a giantish complex, while warring against them on behalf of the human settlements to the South.

The Mage, she was the most interesting. She achieved such high levels of skill that she managed to get herself into it with the gods, and even met AO himself.

I don't play anymore. There's nobody left to playw with. They all play EverCrack instead. :( I hate EverQuest.

I am a gaming geek as well!

I have been playing D&D since i was 16 (I am 36 now) my favorite game is the Bauldurs gate franchise by Interplay. loads of fun! I found that after playing thru several times the "monk" is the most leathal charachter with high magic resistance, and devastating one handed attacks.

he was a madman on the loose...he did kung fu fighting and was fast as lightning!:D

Game, game wheres the game?

In D&D my two favorite characters were a kinder- (Dm was feeling lenient) and an elf assassin- The kinder was chaotic good of course and the assassin was chaotic neutral-- very tough.

I currently play Vampire the Masquerade- LARP which is so cool- My favorite character is Chantal Marchon-- surpirse!

A toreador elder (artsy clan) - I have been the prince of three cities with this character and she is such a bitch. I also like my malkavian character (the insane ones) she is a porn star and quite a flirt.

I haven't played in a while though no good games were I live.

I don't fit really into any of the catorgories mentioned so how about I tell you what I am then you figure out one for me? ;)

Gnome, I've been told that I'm funny.

Halfling, I like the simple things in life.

Barbarian, I tend to get frustrated quite easily!

Druid, Nature that is a given! ;)

Monk, I think alot but I'm not intellectual type either.

Rogue, sneaking around it my favorite sport! :D

So what is your expert opinion, bb?

I would just say Halfling. We could say a Half Halfling, Half Gnome, but that's just too messy. :)

Barbarian 1/Druid 2/Monk 2/ Rogue 1? Does that sound right?
