The clouds passed over the thin slice of moon, blocking the last natural light. I watchedfrom the shadows, my black cloak pulled round me, as the carriage rolled out onto the road.
I had watched the box loaded on as per my suggestion - lightly guarded this should be simple. I waited for the coach to round the woods then ran over to Eris, mounted and began the journey cross country to the thin bridge, knowing I'd have 10 minutes to set up there.
As the coach rounded the bend to my position I moved the horse out infront of the coach - both pistols levelled at the servants on the front. I looked and smiled 'you know the rest' I hissed and they dropped down hands raised.
The box was easily opened and the contents hurridly stuffed into pouches. 'thank you gentlemen' I called - riding off loaded with loot.
The following evening I spent a serious hour discussing how our plans for Lord Deanes money had been broken by some random rogue on the road. I sat back feeling smug - planning the next adventure when I heard the voice calling my name 'Lord Crew? Lord Crew?'
