Felix smiled and looked over to the girl who had been singing. This was all rather nice. As it came to the end of the song, he stopped playing and just watched her carefully, "You've got a really nice voice too. Well, I've met the lady with a million talents. I really am having a lucky day." He chuckled as he looked at her and then held out his hand to her, "I'm really glad I was given the chance to meet you."

Allie smiled at the blonde girl who had called her earlier questioning about the role of back up singer. "Hey, Ash..I'm just gonna hold your audition here. If thats okay? But we really need our back up singer for the competition."

She handed Ashley the sheet music she had for herself while thinking that she needed to make more copies. "Everything that you're supposed to sing is highlighted in yellow and don't worry if things work out fine, you won't be singing back up all the time...sometimes you'll get to sing lead."

Ashley smiled as she took the sheet. She looked at it. Afer a moment of to she began to sing. Her eyes closed at the beginning of the song, concentrating on the meaning of each word. Her eyes opened soon, still concentrating but this time, on the words as a whole. Her facial expressions clearly showed the meaning of the song.

Allie stood there amazed by the sound of her voice. It actually took her back to being a back up singer. "That was great, Ashley! You're in. We have rehearsals from 5 to 9 p.m on Wednesdays and we'll probably be doing that song for the competition, so you have to have it memorized in a week, maybe 2 if a week is too short of time."

"No, I'll probably be able to get it in a week" Ashley said, glad that she made it. ((ack sory for the one liner))

Shane spoke up at that, the first time he'd spoken in quite a while. "Actually, you have a few days till the competition starts, ladies. You don't have to be there the first night, but it would tend to help your chances."

Akira shakes Felix's hand."Thank you for saying that.It means a lot to me" She said blushing.

"Yeah, we know but still it helps to be prepared." Allie said to Shane. "So, you're able to make it on Wednesdays, right?" She asked Ashley, then wondered where Akira was. Had this turned into a mess or what? She bit her lip and glanced over at Nick, even though she had tried not to look at him for the rest of the day, then she quickly averted her eyes. At least she had another piece of eye candy to look at.

Shane saw Allie looking around, and grinned. "If you're looking for Akira, she went outside the moment the Shamisen started playing."

"I will get here" Nana said. She quickly left and saw Felix and Haruhi sitting next to each other.She walked up to them."Akira, its time for practice with your band. bring him along if you like"

"Okay okay, Wanna come Felix" she asked looking into his eyes.

Felix smiled at the girl. This really was rather nice. He simply bowed his head to her and brought up his hand, pulling off his 'lucky charms' hat and hanging it off of the end of his shamisen, "Well, you've got pretty much everything that a rock star girl needs. You've got a great voice, you've got guitar talent, and you get top scores for eye candy, if you won't get too angry at me for saying it."

Nick walked up behind the couch Nana was on, she looked sad, so he fell back over the lounge, ending up upside down next to her and still playing some basic chords "ok Nana, talk, theres beer, good music, me and Akira are here as well as a bunch of other cool people, yet you look like someone just gave you a video of drowning puppies, explain or i start tickling you"

Ten minutes before she left, She looked towards Nick,"Its you and Akira, I am afraid that its my fault you two aren't speaking to each other like you use to."

Akira blushed at Felix's comment,"you are really too sweet"

Jack walked up onto the the stage making sure everything was stable. The club had gotten a lot bigger since her was, the once small club now had an outdoor stage for performers. He had been spending all day checking the p.a. making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be, on top of that, he had to rehearse. It would be different this he'd be playing with whole new set of band mates he had found though various band, took them awhile to learn the music, but sure enough they did, it sounded as if he was back with Serenade.

He went to the bar to sit, there one of the bartender gave him a glass of water. Jack smiled "Glad you remembered?" said Jack "straight edge and proud of it" said the bartender "So how does it feel to be back?" Jack looked around for moment "very different". Jack's mind began to wonder off he thought about the band, about Elise. "So what now?" asked the bartender "you gonna go solo". "I guess..." Jack responded "But I'll keep the name, My Shattered Serenade, I do own the name, why waste". The bartender looked at him "So you gonna be like Trent Reznor" he asked, Jack just smiled and answered"I better get back to work".

Felix smiled as he looked at the woman. He wasn't sure what he should say now. He smiled and then shrugged softly, "Well, at least I've got a new friend." He smiled softly and then thought about putting his guitar away. What was he going to do and say now? He really wasn't sure, but he knew that he had a new friend, and she was smoking hot.

Haruhi and Nana walked towards the door.Haruhi stopped and looked at Felix,"You coming or what"

Nick stopped playing at her reason and set the guitar aside before rolling backwards and on to his feet, standing in front of Nana and putting his hands on her shoulders "Nana, its not your fault, in any way, that’s all in the past and behind us... and..." he put an arm around her and walked her off in the opposite direction from the room Allie was interviewing the new girl in, taking extra precautions that she wouldn’t hear "that Allie, girl, she’s my Ex, it was a very messy break up, so seeing her again after all this time... well lets just say its not been a very good day."

Felix blinked. He was being called to join people. Alright. He supposed that was fair. He pushed himself up and slipped his Shamisen back into its case, sliding his hat back onto his hat. He smirked and bowed his head, "Alright, I guess I am."

I wont know if we still have that something special, will I?"

"You are still as Oblivious as you are stupid. She loves you, she never stopped loving you not until that day her father.." she stopped as she saw Allie coming."You better explain to her better than you do to me now I am going to get her." She left to get Akira.

About a half hour later, they entered with Felix. Haruhi smiled as she entered the room and Nana looked towards Nick and nodded.

Felix smiled once he had joined the rest of the group here. He remained perfectly silent. He really didn't know what to say about any of this. He liked the idea of being around though. He smiled softly and just adjusted his had a little bit so it hid his face a little bit more. He wasn't sure what to say to any of these people.

Nana whispered to Akira,"listen, Nick wants to talk to you. Good luck Akira." Nana pushed her towards Nick.

"W-what do you mean" she asked as she fell into Nick.

Nickolai thought hard with what little time he had, he did care about Akira, without question… but did he still love her?... he didn’t quite know, he never was good at figuring stuff like this out, even when it was fresh in his mind, not a few years old. And then his time was up, and he still didn’t have an answer to his little conundrum, but that didn’t matter, he rarely had the answer, it was part of his charm.

And before he knew it Akira came barreling in to him, launched by the ever watching hand of Nana, that girl did so much to keep the band together way back when, he still felt guilty for failing her and letting it fall apart “Akira” he said, his face showing a seriousness she had only seen a few ties before on him “I need to ask you a question… in private”

Akira looked at him and blushed then quickly looked down."Sure, Lets go talk now.I am sure we have enough time."
