As usual, I'd love to spend the summer holed up in my air conditioning until it stops being hotter than hell, but something about being a parent requires me to be an on-call taxi 16 hours a day.

Did we discuss deadlines for keepers yet? Because, you know, I have SO much talent on my team that I need to spend the proper time evaluating each of my players for those who will make the most stunning contributions to my team this year. The rest of them will get the dreaded, "Thanks, but no thanks" letter from my head talent scout.

I was thinking about doing away with the divisions and going with a straight, X-top teams make the playoffs. This way, a team can't get screwed out of a playoff spot simply because it is in the stronger division.

I'm still thinking about it, but since you asked, what do you all think?

I have three teenagers and a tween. Two of the teenagers have autism and one just had a baby with a husband who doesn't have a job and has another child with another baby mama who he's never paid support to.

Otherwise, over the years people have tended to want a draft date as close to season's start so as to be fully informed as possible.
