Robin Hood was a Terrorist

Damn, can't argue with such rock solid logic like that.

Hood? Yeah, to the Sherriff of Nottingham

So was Menachem Begin.

So were Michael Collins & Eamonn de Valera.

So was George Washington.

All depends on who you ask and when

Nah... he was just a redistributionist.

These days, we have politicians for that.
:D

Yeah, but the politicians aren't good at giving to the poor.

If DCL want's to consider a mythical hero a terrorist, I see no problem.

No, he just went around at night beating up suspected crimin...

Oh, I see.

Jesus was one...

and the disciples his terrorist organisation...

Guess we'll just have to see who wins, won't we?

But Osama bin Ladin hasn't been associated with an nationalist movement, and that might be a key difference between him and any of the examples I gave. He tried to say he was doing it for the Palestinians, and they more or less rejected him (I think).

Saddam is another story. If he survives, he could easily become an Iraqi hero. Look at how well Gaddafi's doing these days in Libya. Completely "reformed" since the Locherbie trials are over.
