BluePoet said:Since your link leads to the comments and not the poem, I'm assuming you're displeased with the anonymous comment. Yes? So, about the comments:
I have just read the poem. Good poem, not what I'd call fluff, certainly not a zero.
The anon comment was not attacking the poet. The comment was simply stating that person's opinion.
There is nothing wrong with anon comments. We all have usernames here, and that makes us all anon. Many readers who leave comments may not be registered, which makes them anonymous.
Comments like "worded manure" are uncalled for. Just because someone doesn't like a poem, it does not make their comment manure!
No, I am not the anon commenter. I like the poem just fine and dandy.
Someone else made the comment and called it worded manure. I agree that not many of us like a zero with a comment that doesn't really state why it's fluff. But at the same time, I find these defenders of poets, who leap forward with "worded manure," just as distasteful. Some of these "defenders" trash anyone who makes a less than praiseful comment. It's as though they're trying to be the newbie poets' hero or some nonsense. "Let me step into your manure and river dance it all over the dang place. There! There! That's what I think of your word manure! Now, someone get me a hose for my shoes. Please?"anonamouse said:the anon comment, was not making anything beyond a cursory comment (i.e.) fluff and then left a zero. I hate that on two counts, the gutlessness of leaving a name, and no real comment outside of the fact that he is a hunter. The "worded manure" I assume refered to that comment.
My score 100 was upped (I feel it should have been a 75)
If I see nonsense like that; an automatic counter of a 100.
Yes certainly not fluff, certainly not a zero.

flyguy69 said:I agree, BluePoet: anonamouse' noble cause is entirely uncalled for. Stick to the poem, AM. You are making the cumulative score the issue, here, when we have ridden, beaten and exhumed that horse enough.
Curiouswife is certainly capable of deciding for herself which comments carry merit.
