This is a recruitment thread to help Tymeless's game acquire more creative players.
Plain and simply, if you like modern, mythological role play with an Avengers and X-men flavor, this may be the game for you.
We currently have five active players and we're hoping to recruit five more. You can read the game's plot here: OOC
Basically, you will be role playing either the offspring of a god/goddess or the reincarnated form of a god or goddess. This god or goddess you choose can come from any religion as long as they are a deity. The current players are:
1. Allison Gunnas - descendant of Thor (whether she's the daughter is unspecified) - Tymeless (Hero)
Asuka Kagayaki - daughter of Amaterasu - Tymeless (Hero)
2. Hayden Condan - son of Orcus - DeathsKnight (Hero)
Steve Denver - son of Theia and Uranus - DeathsKnight (Hero)
3. Lydia Pruitt - daughter of Mnomosyne - heartofcourage (Hero)
4. Jessup King - reincarnation of Ares - HotCider (Currently Villain)
5. Lyra Òra - daughter of Cronos - Tight_n_ready (Villain)
6. Melinda (Last Name Unknown) - daughter of Coyote - samanthaswitch (TBD)

As you join, since the game has started and has progressed some ways, you can have your character placed in an immediate position in the game or you can start them on their own. The immediate positioning helps because they'll already be acquainted with the current heroes.
If you go the villain path, then starting on your own may be the best thing for Tight_n_ready's character is currently the active villain in the game who is recruiting pawns in her schemes.
By starting alone, your character may not know the truth of their origin (they don't know that their mother or father or both were either gods or goddesses or that they are the reincarnation of one). Whatever path you choose, I hope it is enjoyable for you.
I have enjoyed this game and I want to see it progress, so thus why you see me enthusiastically helping to recruit more writers. The speed of this game isn't at all fast, but when we get these new roles filled, we hope to have players posting once or twice a week or more and keeping everyone updated of any vacations or delays they may experience. In the case you go away for a long time but plan to return, be sure to give permission to other players to NPC your character, otherwise, the GM may have your character put in the hospital.
