So I wrote this story, "Turning A Corner." The story is fiction, but like a "Law & Order," some of the material comes from real experiences and the remainder is wishful thinking or fantasy. It amazes me when the comments seem to be less about the story and the writing and more about an interpretation of my personal life. I don't write to be psychoanalyzed. I write for my own personal enjoyment. The subject matter may have a particular bent to it. Would I go there given the opportunity? Well, the fantasy me says yes. The practical me says I'll have to wait and see.

Any of you find that the critics of your stories are somewhat misguided?

Stephen King gets the same abuse. Many think he had an awful childhood. He says he simply makes monsters instead of widgets.

Let me guess...in the Loving Wives category, yes?

No, it was a Group Sex story. Just taken a look. http://www.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=393385&page=4

I suspect, looking at those first 2 comments, that they were written by the same person. And that person admitted who he was...

Let's just say he's not a fluffy bunny at the moment. He's just pulled all his stories from the site because apparently we didn't care enough about him.

Don't take it to heart. From the quick skim read I gave it, it looks to be a half decent story, well done.

If the stories are for your own personal enjoyment then why are you posting them?

Don't worry, I'll tell you the answer. A story isn't finished until someone else reads it.

When someone else reads it, it becomes communication. Communication most often comes in one flavour: dialogue. When you write 'The End' is when you lose control over it.

Even though you wrote the words you have no control over what they actually read. You have no control of what they take from it. You have no control over what part of themselves they put into it.

And if it affects them enough then they want to reply. You give them that right by allowing comments. Or having a mail box.

The End is hardly ever the end. What you wanted to talk about very often has little connection with what your reader wants to talk about.

Do a Loving Wives story where the husband and wife stays together after SHE has sex with another guy or guys. Doesn't matter whether the husband knows about it or not. If he stays with her he's a wimp and she's a whore. Oh, and every negative commenter thinks the story is real and hopes you get AIDs from that whore wife of yours and that she get pregnant.

They have no clue over there in LW land. Read some of the comments I got on PARTY FAVOR (link is in my sig) if you think the ones you received were rough.
