Possibly the greatest editor of the twentieth century, Robert Giroux, died yesterday at 94. In almost 60 years of publishing, he published and edited some of the best writers of our times including T.S. Eliot, Jack Kerouac, Flannery O'Connor and Issac Bashevis Singer (among many others).
You can read about his amazing life here.
He was a literary giant. RIP.
I'm posting poems and/or other writings by some of the artists Giroux edited and/or published. Feel free to join in if you like.

The first 5 lines, I believe, is his own interpretation of String Theory and he is the one who inspired my poem, A String Theory, Simplified, which made it into print
