I want to feel sympathy for him, I really do.
Then I remember the part he played in fighting tooth and nail against any health care reform, not to mention against safe and legal abortion. If you want to talk about rough ways to die...

He had a dissecting aortic aneurysm... supposedly. Very hard to fake and a terrible way to go if its true.

Evidently Graham called a friend last night and said he had some serious chest pain.
His friend told him to go the emergency room right now
Graham said he couldn't, he had to be on Meet the Press talking heads show first thing this morning....but it hurt so bad he'd go immediately after the show. He had to promote the new US-Ukraine drone deal, that was his priority.

There are two types of aortic dissection, burst blood vessel and delamination. If he was conscious enough to talk about his chest pain, he had delamination. Blood shreds the wall of your aorta, making false channels for your blood to pool all around your heart. It's fucking hell on earth and your survival rate drops something like 5% each hour left untreated.

Lindsay Graham was a living, breathing human being. An imperfect person and a sinner in the eyes of God. It is not for him to be judged by the likes of me. I can only pray for his family and his friends and even those who admit to being his enemy. I suspect those of you who scorn and ridicule the man here did not know him personally but only base your opinion on all you have read and heard about him, and only the portions of that information that suit you.

May Allah grant him entrance into Paradise or Heaven, whichever those of you who believe wish to call it. Insha'Allah.

I met Senator Graham many times.
He was funny. He was a good politician.

But his policies harmed vulnerable communities and his role in supporting the degradation of our democracy will be his legacy. He only cared about keeping his job at any cost.

No, it couldn’t.
None of them in the last 25 years harmed queer people, women’s rights, public education, or promoted the election of a fascist.
Obviously you can disagree. But Graham’s legacy is one of a turncoat who had the chance to do the right thing and opted not to in pursuit of his own power. That is not a good person.

And when those people die, you can post whatever you want. Hillary Clinton's legacy on crime policy and enabling her husband, I'll bring that up. Chuck Schumer being a horrible party leader, yep. Joe Biden and how he treated Anita Hill. WTF did Cory Booker do besides let Trump steal his idea for Baby Bonds. I believe, and know, Joe Biden to be a truly wonderful man - which Senator Graham himself said before he had to gag on Trump's balls. Other than Anita Hill and (along with every single member still serving) supporting the Iraq war, his biggest problem the republicans have with him is that he loves his children.

At 71, he was advised to go to the doctor, he refused like the typical old arrogant MAGA Boomer male who feels invincible and hates Science.

Free healthcare didn't even use it.

DEATH WAITS FOR NO ONE.

My condolences are with the families of those innocent Iranian schoolchildren and teachers mortally wounded in the attacks from this useless war.
